AIT政治組官員黃東偉和紀錄片導演楊佈新也在之後出席了一場映後座談會，兩人一起回顧美台之間長達70多年來的安全合作關係，並細數「黑貓中隊」飛行員的英勇事蹟，以及他們對台灣安全和對美國所做出的貢獻。

我們在此也向全球所有的退伍軍人致敬，感謝他們為了保家衛國所做的英勇付出，他們崇高的愛國情操以及犧牲奉獻的精神。

In commemoration of Veterans Day, AIT co-hosted a special screening of the documentary film "Lost Black Cats -- 35th Squadron" at New Taipei City's Fuzhong 15 Documentary Cinema on November 10. Following the screening, AIT Political Officer Thomas Wong participated in an armchair Q&A discussion with film director Jonathan Yang that touched upon the long-standing U.S.-Taiwan security cooperation relationship dating back over 70 years, the courageous stories of these Black Cats Squadron pilots, and their contributions to not only the security of Taiwan but also the United States. We honor veterans worldwide for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

下周三11月11日是美國的退伍軍人節。在這天，我們向所有的退伍軍人致敬，感謝他們一生為保家衛國所做的英勇付出，還有愛國情操和犧牲奉獻的精神。美國在台協會邀請各位臉書朋友於11月10日下午前往新北市的府中15一同欣賞《疾風魅影-黑貓中隊》紀錄片。這部2018年的紀錄片記載了「黑貓中隊」在冷戰時，駕駛「U-2」偵察機從事高風險任務。從1961年到1974年間，該中隊總共執行了220次秘密間諜飛行任務。影片內容包含對黑貓中隊飛行員的訪談。另外我們也邀請AIT政治組官員黃東偉和紀錄片導演楊佈新一同出席映後座談。有關活動的資訊請見: https://bit.ly/2I6BRYb

On November 11, Americans observe Veterans Day to honor veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good. AIT invites you to a special screening of the documentary film "Lost Black Cats -- 35th Squadron" on November 10 at the New Taipei City's Documentary Cinema. This 2018 documentary commemorates the secret “Black Cats Squadron” that carried out high-risk surveillance missions during the Cold War. From 1961 to 1974, the squadron flew 220 secret missions. The film includes interviews with several pilots from this special unit. AIT Political Officer Thomas Wong will host a discussion with “Lost Black Cats” Director Jonathan Yang after the screening. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch the AIT@40 Security Cooperation Month screening of “Lost Black Cats — 35th Squadron” at the Taoyuan Bureau of Cultural Affairs on August 5. This film examines U.S.-Taiwan security cooperation before the enactment of Taiwan Relations Act. Extra special thanks to the Taoyuan City Government for organizing the program and film director Jonathan Yang and AIT’s Thomas Wong for leading an in-depth discussion following the screening.
