亞馬遜宣布將再「裁員9000人」雲端運算、Twitch直播受影響

亞馬遜（Amazon）執行長賈西（Andy Jassy）在給員工的備忘錄中表示，未來幾周將再裁
員 9,000 人。這次裁員是在上一輪裁員後所進行的新一輪裁員計畫，上次裁員計劃於 11
月開始並延續至 1 月，影響了 18,000 多名員工。
根據CNBC報導，賈西指出，考慮了經濟以及「近期存在的不確定性」，公司剛剛結束了年
度預算流程的第二階段，內部稱為OP2。
賈西說，「我們今年年度計劃的首要原則是精簡，同時使我們能夠繼續大力投資於關鍵的
長期客戶體驗，我們認為這些體驗，可以顯著改善客戶的生活和整個亞馬遜。」
Jassy 在備忘錄中表示，最新一輪裁員主要影響亞馬遜的雲端計算、人力資源、廣告和 T
witch 直播業務。
亞馬遜在 Covid-19 大流行期間進行了大規模招聘，到 2021 年底，該公司的全球員工人
數從 2019 年第四季度的 798,000 人激增至 160 萬多人。
