{IG Giveaway} This book title is so apt for the big girl because it has indeed been a turbulent year for her. The arrival of the baby, being the big sister to three siblings, the pandemic, HBL - these changes have not been easy to adapt to for this firstborn of mine who will be sitting for her PSLE in a couple of months' time.
We struggled a little during the mid-year exams and saw a dip in her results. Nonetheless, we will try to overcome the obstacles hand in hand and I still intend to let her remain tuition-free, trust her to get her revision done and make sure she still has time to do what she loves best - reading.
Her latest read is "Turbulence", written by the talented @vivianteowriter, which is the third book in the "My BFF is an Alien" series revolving around teenager best friends Abriana and Octavia.
In Angel's words, "The book is very interesting, I was captivated and enjoyed reading every chapter. I like Abri and Octavia's friendship and their synergy in working together to stop the Others. This book is rich in vocabulary and also keeps me in suspense, I can't wait for the next and last book!"
Yup, she is definitely happy to have found time to read this during the June holidays. This girl has always been into books and if they help to relieve some of her stress and make her feel happy, it should be encouraged, right?
"My BFF is an Alien" series is suitable for kids aged 10 and the first two books are now available at @huggsepigram, @epigrambooks and in major bookstores.
