After finishing the edits with Bobby, I went straight into post production with Kino-i Pictures.
I had met Imri Nasution when he was directing #Kopitiam and he then introduce me to national treasure venerated colorist Hollywood Beh and his apprentice Audadi.
This was my first time working with a post house and it was so awesome. I learnt a lot but the two things that I especially valued: Talk to post especially during pre-production & always aspire to do it in camera and not ‘fix it in post’. This is not to say post is bad, not at all. Post is there to enhance my vision (not manufacture it) and this challenged me to film better next time. It taught me what to consider and better prepare for.
I really want to talk more about this but I don’t know how! I’m so new to this. I can’t wait to do more and learn more. I’m so obsessed with broadcast reference monitors and DaVinci. (Sorry this is the stream of consciousness paragraph)
