在紐約提到烏龍麵很多人應該馬上會想到東村St. Mark St.上的Udon West. 他們的Nabeyaki Udon是真的蠻好吃的。不過去年底同樣是在東村新開以烏龍麵為主的Raku就到了另一個境界了！
在紐約應該還沒吃過這麼好吃的烏龍麵條！「骨溜，骨溜」的彈牙不軟爛！烏龍麵的湯頭也跟坊間其他烏龍麵很不一樣。點了Chikara Udon有點Yuzu的湯頭和雞肉和兩塊Q軟的麻糬很滿足！vegetible tempura udon也把蔬菜炸得相當爽脆好吃。聽朋友說Niku Udon的牛肚也滷得很棒。列為下次去吃的名單內！
Raku沒什麼顯著招牌不過不是太難找。地址是：342 E. 6th Street (bet. 1st & 2nd Ave).
這樣的寒天想要暖暖身子，不一定只能吃拉麵喔！相對清爽許多的烏龍麵也是好選擇！

Gold mochi and sesame soymilk miso cup udon noodles. Sesami is 'GoMa' in Japanese, and Goukaku Masshigura means 'pass the exam'. So the cup udon noodles supports examinee, maybe. I ate it with gold mochi. By the way, Udon + Mochi = Power Udon(Chikara Mochi). It's a kind of popular udon.

Gold mochi and New Year cup udon noodles 'Donbei Toshiake Udon'. We have tradition that eating soba noodles at New Year eve, but recently in addition to that we eat Udon noodles at New Year. It's called Toshiake Udon(New Year Udon). The white half round thing is kamaboko boiled fish paste, '寿' means celebration. The red ball thing is Umeboshi pickled plum. I ate it with gold mochi. By the way, Udon + Mochi = Power Udon(Chikara Mochi). It's a kind of popular udon.
