Back in the days, around the time when YouTube was founded, before most of you were born, I used to Vlog a lot. I was a little ahead of my time because video sharing platforms were premature back then. I Vlogged so that I can remember my experiences back then. Episode 15 - Happy New Year 2006
I celebrated 2006 in three different locations of two different states. Mostly with my close family friend there.
Part 1 is when I was learning to bake Cheesecake, the American Recipe. Then we went to play bowling after that.
Part 2 was in Flushing, New York. We had our Happy New Year 2006 Countdown there. Manhattan was too crowded.
Part 3 is back in Amherst for Winter Semester. I played my favorite song Bo Go Ship Da. One of the most legendary KPOP song back then.

I celebrated Christmas in 2005 with the families of my close friends Will and Henry. This is how Chinese in America celebrate Christmas. It's very much like Chinese New Year here in Asia. We get together, we cook, we eat, we play games, and we have fun.
Children's education are extremely important part of Asian families. Most of us would learn multiple languages, musical instruments, swimming, martial arts etc. In this video, you'll see their talents at an early age.

Skullgirls是一款2D平面格鬥遊戲,故事圍繞在Skull Heart(骷髏之心)這項神奇的物品上,有許願的功能,但只要許願的人心不夠純潔,願望則會扭曲,遊戲中講述各角色自己,以及與Skullgirl所發生的故事
影片中許多部分並未完全照英文字面意思翻譯,為了能盡量淺顯易懂,並傳達本作故事的劇情與要素,會在一些地方稍做調整讓[中文]看起來能夠更加流暢
並且 所有遊戲內的特殊名詞與姓名皆不翻譯
為了保留最原始的發音

Big Band講話總有種老式偵探片的主角自白的感覺XD
有很多說法都很少見，卻也超有味道的，大家可以特別去留意看看喔！
0:38 "be on the take" 是有收賄或貪污的意思喔
1:43 "lit(light) up like a Christmas tree" 是一種還蠻有畫面的比喻方式
「像顆點亮的聖誕樹一樣」，聖誕樹很閃亮嘛～所以這個比喻是指光彩奪目的東西
或用來形容一個人笑得燦爛，表現出開心的樣子等等
2:02 Big Band說 "maybe catch a show"
"catch a show" 算是蠻普遍的說法，就是去找場表演看
動詞用catch(抓住)所以沒聽過的人可能會覺得蠻新奇的
那對應下一句
Cerebella說 "The show caught you!"
就是在反過來用Big Band的說詞回嗆他
Cere知道Big Band只是在找借口隨便忽悠，所以才反嗆說我抓到你想搞事了
這種恰好對應到特殊說法的回嗆在Skullgirls裡面還蠻常見的
例如Valentine戰鬥開場的嗆聲"Time for your physical." 就有機會觸發Cerebella的"Time for your curtain call." (押韻
2:21 Big Band說的"This just ain't my scene." 這種說法Eliza在她的個人劇情裡面也講過
簡單來說就是「這不是我的場」，看當下情境來解讀，可以是「我不參與這種場的」或是「我不是要找這個」等意思

Big Band的身體被改造成包含許多樂器的武器，所以說Big Band是一人樂隊完全正確XD
One-man army是指那種像超人一樣的戰鬥人員，一人抵一支軍隊
在「降士神通」這部卡通裡，就有人說裡面的「愛和大將軍」覺醒後有如一人大軍（英文版用的是一樣的說法

因為當初他會來調查賭場就是因為Theonite訊號，顯然這龐大的訊號肯定是人為的
因為數據上來說這種程度的訊號天然的來源一定是Skullgirl，但他被調虎離山了
4:55 從台詞可以看出Double知道Big Band是曾經差點死掉的人被改造成的半機械兵器

11:05 Tinman(錫人)其實就是綠野仙蹤那個錫人沒錯，這個名詞後來常常被拿來說機器人或是外表有金屬的人
外貌上來說Big Band確實蠻金屬外皮的
之所以會被誤會也可能是因為Medici底下的怪人也不少... Medici跟Labs底下的改造士兵都還蠻奇特的... 可以說是能輕鬆看出來
13:01 Irvin說的"spare you the song and dance." 就是不跟你長篇大論或是細細解釋了
13:55 又是個少見的說法，"Can it"其實就是類似好了閉嘴的意思
