Everyone has their right to choose
What types of friends they have in their lives
All I can say is… I am utterly blessed
To have them in my life
They are my lifesavers and my besties
They are mostly from the 🏳️‍🌈 community

Whether you’re gay, straight, or bi
Or any other colour of the rainbow
When I look at you
I don’t see sexual orientation
All I see is love, equality, and….
I see my second family 💖

Whatever challenges I may have gone through
Or whatever stupid shit I may have done
Even when I accidentally hurt them
Not once have they turned their backs on me

Never pushing me away
Never criticizing my actions
Only to help me see the light in each stage
And help me become a better person

In a world full of negativity and hate
I am blessed to have you guys in my life

In my eyes,
What I consider success, is due to
70% of hark work
10% of luck
And the rest of the ppl who are my rocks

The rainbow 🏳️‍🌈 sign shouldn’t be looked upon
As only a community toward sexuality recognition
Rather to be seen as a symbol of equality and peace
I hope that when more ppl get to know this flag
They can look deeper than the surface
And see it’s true beauty as a symbol of love 🏳️‍🌈

Today I choose not to tag these memorable ppl
Because I know… deep down

Because without you

Grace to Govern your Mouth

“Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Don’t grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.” (Ephesians‬ ‭4:29-32‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

If we have nothing helpful or constructive to say, most times it is better that we refrain from speaking, in case we release what we might regret.

Things you can consider before speaking:

1. Is what I want to say truthful, and will it build someone up?

2. Does what I want to say come from a pure motive of love and the desire to be a blessing to others, or does it stem from negative feelings and the desire to hurt?

The Holy Spirit dwelling inside you is grieved whenever you speak in a way that is not befitting of your position as a royal priest to God. He is most pleased when you encourage, comfort, and edify others with God’s word.

We can give others what we know we have first received through Christ.

When we learn how forgiven we are, we will be empowered to extend that same kind of forgiveness to others who have sinned against us.

A royal priest’s most-prized asset is probably his mouth, for it is his working tool. Our job is to speak words that impart grace, to be a channel of blessing wherever we go.

Govern your mouth well. What you say matters for you carry God’s authority in your spoken words.

Pray with me: “Dear Abba God, from this day forth, I want to be a good steward of my mouth, and be a royal priest who speaks blessings, comfort, exhortation, encouragement, and edification. Gone are the days where I just speak carelessly as if my words don’t have any effect. I receive Your grace to govern my mouth well, in Jesus’ name, Amen!”

This was the first ever video clip I filmed of #SingaporeComicCon #SCC2019 (7-8 December 2019), for which I had covered relentlessly on the TOYSREVIL-blog (Read all here: https://bit.ly/30KXOTm). As we count down the months and days to December 2020, I wonder if the 2020 Edition of SCC will still happen, or would it still be physically relevant, in this COVID-Age of "Social Distancing" ...?

I know I am biased - having covered and enjoyed the annual event for the past decade here in Singapore - but I feel the annual geekcon would be quite different without the hustle-n-bustle, and the insanity of the crowds (*The music / noise-din notwithstanding FFS) - where once I/we might have complained about - but now...? Where even San Diego Comic Con and New York Comic Con have since gone virtual, including closer to Asia: Thailand Toy Expo ... with the exception of Taipei Toy Festival, which is still pushing forth in October, it remains to be seen or announced, the status of this year's SCC...
