ĐẠO DIỄN JAMES GUNN HÉ LỘ VỀ TRAILER CỦA PEACEMAKER

Giữa tuần trước, trailer của series Peacemaker đã được chiếu cho cánh báo chí tại sự kiện press tour của Hiệp hội Phê bình Truyền hình.

TV Series ngoại truyện này lấy bối cảnh sau các sự kiện diễn ra trong The Suicide Squad. Trong đoạn trailer, nhân vật Christopher “Peacemaker” Smith do John Cena thủ vai tỉnh dậy trong bệnh viện. Khi nói với người hộ lý rằng mình là Peacemaker, và đáng ra đang phải ở tù, câu trả lời anh nhận được là không tồn tại siêu anh hùng nào tên Peacemaker cả.

Bên cạnh đó, nhân vật trung tâm của chúng ta còn có màn thả thính với chemistry cực đỉnh cùng nàng đặc vụ Emilia Harcourt. Trước câu nói của người đẹp: “Chỉ vì anh đẹp trai không có nghĩa là anh không phải một thằng tồi”, anh đáp “Cô thấy tôi đẹp trai à?”

Đạo diễn James Gunn chia sẻ với The Hollywood Reporter rằng, khi hãng DC Films hỏi ông thấy nhân vật nào có tiềm năng phát triển ngoại truyện, ông đã không chần chừ mà chọn Peacemaker.

Vị đạo diễn giải thích thêm về quyết định của mình: “Ở cuối The Suicide Squad, Bloodsport đã học được rất nhiều và trở thành một người tốt hơn. Rất nhiều nhân vật khác cũng tốt hơn so với xuất phát điểm, và Peacemaker thì còn nhiều điều phải học lắm.”

Series Peacemaker dự kiến phát hành trên HBO Max vào tháng 1/2022.

ซึ่งผู้ที่มารับหน้าที่ควบคุมงานสร้างคือ Greg Berlanti ผู้สร้างจักรวาล Arrowverse และซีรีส์ Arrow ของ DC ในช่อง CW และได้ Diablo Cody มือเขียนบทจากหนังเรื่อง Juno และ Heather Reginer มือเขียนบทจากซีรีส์เรื่อง Veronica Mars มาเขียนบทให้ซีรีส์เรื่องนี้

สามสาวพาวเวอร์พัฟฟ์เกิร์ลเป็นผลงานการสร้างของ Craig McCracken ที่เปิดตัวบนช่อง Cartoon Network มาตั้งแต่ปี 1998 เดินเรื่องโดยสาวสามพี่น้อง Blossum, Bubble และ Buttercup ที่ถือกำเนิดโดยศาสตราจารย์ Utonium

สำหรับเนื้อหาในการ์ตูนจะเป็นเรื่องราวของสามสาวที่ต้องต่อสู้กับเหล่าสัตว์ประหลาด แต่ในซีรีส์จะเล่าเรื่องสาว ๆ ในช่วงวัย 20 ปีที่จะต้องกลับมาช่วยโลกอีกครั้ง ไม่แน่ว่ามันอาจจะเป็นพาวเวอร์พัฟฟ์เกิร์ลที่ต่างจากที่เรารู้จักก็เป็นได้

ขณะนี้ซีรีส์อยู่ในช่วงการพัฒนา คาดว่าเราจะได้ชมกันก็น่าจะช่วงปี 2021-2022 และน่าจะฉายที่ช่อง CW เช่นเคย
