What do you do when you can't get your tail on and your feet are out of the heelstraps? Ans: You go out there and make the same damn magic. And nobody will know till you tell them in retrospect. ✨

Changing into tail was always a tricky logistic, but for this one performance I couldn't get my feet into the monofin pockets at all while in the filled tank (not anyone's fault, just something that happened). As showtime dawned I decided to just go ahead with my feet out of the foot pockets, and just persevere. I can now tell you all that this set was absolute agony and was very tricky to maneuver the fluke around an enclosed space. Looking back at this video by @jodyguide though, I'm glad that my inner agony was not apparent 😂 one of the only telltale signs is that my tail is riding much lower than I would ever normally wear it. (I am 100% a Cover The Belly Button gal usually) Just one of those things that you have to deal with as a performer!
