就算2020已經過一個多月還是想記錄一下2020自己覺得很棒應該多一點人聽到的唱片。

1.Otis Sandsjö --Y​-​OTIS 2

Otis Sandsjö是來自瑞典現在在柏林發展的薩克斯風手，製作人是我覺得超厲害的Petter Eldh ，這張裏頭許多樂手也是來自Koma Saxo 。高度旋律性 x 絕佳grooving，音色跟技巧都絕佳上等的future Jazz 。

2.Chicago Underground Quartet –Good Days

睽違10多年終於再次合作的Chicago Underground Quartet。 除了一貫又酸又暈的合成器bassline跟小號，這次還多了老友Jeff Parker跟合成器/鍵盤手Josh Johnson，而且他們竟然翻玩我心目的free jazz經典Alan Shorter 1969年的Orgasm!!! Alan Shorter是號稱realbook裡有最多曲子的Wayne Shorter的哥哥，但時運不濟的他只出了兩張專輯在1980年代就死了..........

3.Josh Johnson --Freedom Exercise

Josh Johnson是 Chicago Underground Quartet裡的鍵盤手，同時也是薩克斯風手。這張比起Chicago Underground Quartet 更像是芝加哥音響掛爵士 ，喜歡Gastr del Sol跟Totorise一定會喜歡這張。

4.Ernesto Cervini—Tetrahedron

其實是因為吉他手Nir Felder 才會注意到這個組合，很喜歡他爵士本格派很bop的語彙，同時又用很多Glitch效果。對......就是跟我一直想做的吉他表現很像。鼓手Ernesto Cervini 也有很多厲害的樂句表現。

5. Anton Eger --Æ

Anton Eger 是來自挪威的鼓手，製作人一樣是Petter Eldh ，技巧超威，合成器超爽，grooving超怪洨。如果覺得Jaga Jazzist今年這張有點弱掉的推薦你聽這個保證噴爽~~~~!!!
而且幾乎所有合成器都是Polysix做的!!!Korg怎麼還不趕快復刻!!!

6.Waldo's Gift – the Hut

這個來自Bristol的樂團應該去年的大驚喜聽最多次的唱片，吉他手總有各種旋律及效果怪招，有實驗電子聲響也有爵士樂的合聲精隨有時候又突然一個超爆猛大爆炸音牆。喜歡怪吉他效果的一定要聽一下。

7.Joachim Kühn & Trummerschlunk--Playing Probabilities

一直都很喜歡爵士鋼琴老將 Joachim Kühn的作品，但沒想到今年這張竟然是做Minimal跟Glitch這種實驗電子音樂.......但Joachim Kühn的檔次就是可以把極微聲響變的超火熱。然後這張唱片竟然是在Ibiza錄音，製作人是一個做big room的DJ............

8. The Flashbulb --Our Simulacra

Flashbulb的新專輯無疑是今年最好的電子音樂專輯，有機感十足的modular synth，極度優美然後再多一點就太巴辣濫情的好聽旋律，別樹一格的Speech synth用法，本身是硬底子器樂高手的Benn Jordan毫無疑問地把他這幾年研究modular的成果發揮的淋漓盡致。雖然還是會懷念breakcore時期暴衝的Flashbulb，但有預感在中國武漢病毒肆虐下可以做屌音樂又是賤嘴youtuber的他肯定是一波大紅大紫百萬級電子音樂家ㄌ!!!!

9.Beck – Hyperspace

應該就是我2020的guilty pleasure了，嚴格來說這應該是2019年專輯的remix，但我更喜歡這張，能把808 bass，Trap beat，Retro synthwave全部內化成自己風格的應該只有Beck了............

10. SPECIAL INTEREST --The Passion Of

直接，爽快，沒在跟你好來好去，好久沒聽到這麼猛的電子硬核暴女龐克。只能說在2020還能認識這種亂七八糟團真的太好了。

11. Hubert Dupont--Trio Kosmos

去年很喜歡的小號手Antoine Berjeaut今年的新作品，鬼魅，虛幻，如Dark Magus 般深不可測的宇宙爵士，裏頭有超多又低又炸線條超複雜的合成器bass line。大概比當紅炸子雞Sam Gendel那種極簡風格有趣個三百倍吧。

12.Igorrr --Spirituality and Distortion

如果要我選一個最能代表法國的當代音樂人，毫無疑問就是Igorrr了，這張專輯除了以往的重金屬電子breakcore香頌吉普賽爵士，更將音樂觸角往北非摩洛哥延伸，裏頭超多Oud琴跟金屬電子混搭橋段。然後還有幾首將吉普賽風格延伸到巴爾幹半島，只能說這傢伙真的是混搭天才.............

13.Gard Nilssen´s Supersonic Orchestra – If You Listen Carefully The Music Is Yours

今年最喜歡的大樂團爵士樂，比Sun Ra Arkestra那張還喜歡。火熱，靈性，原始，狂野，不和諧，可以聽到很多源自Archie Shepp，Albert Ayler那些60年代以降原始自由爵士的聲響，不像很多此類靈性爵士都太圓融太好聽‧太刻意。

It's festival time at Blue Tree Phuket!

The Living Art Festival and Blue Tree Phuket's re-opening is a three-day festival combining music, fashion, arts and crafts, food and more.

Featuring some of Thailand's most sought after artists, that convey works of art through different perspectives.

Concerts, and live music from various artists such as Phum Viphurit, Mariam Grey Alkalali, Q_Flure, Cake B5, Tontrakul, Synth X Factor, EKA SOUNDZ, DJ Nicola Vega and DJ Fen.

This promises to be an amazing community festival, for all ages to enjoy as well as the full re-opening of all areas of Blue Tree Phuket that we all love from the Lifestyle Village, to the Arena and, of course the Blue Tree Lagoon!

Bad Digestion, a four-song EP from Taiwanese hip-hop innovator/songwriter Leo Wang, is a snapshot of life in Taiwan -- or anywhere, for that matter -- in 2021.

Let's start with a familiar everyday scene: you're sitting at a table, chopsticks in one hand, phone in the other. You're shoveling down food with one hand, swiping through emotion and drama with the other.

All this grease and gripe, day in, day out, will eventually get to you. This idea inspired the reggae-driven title track, on which Leo sings: "It's emotion, it's hunger, it's fate, all pulling on me / All these mundane things in the world -- I just want to break free."

Time for a digestif, then. The Taiwanese don't agree on everything, but they agree a meal is always good with white rice, or "Baifun." This cut is Leo's ode to Taiwan's great uniter, and his backing band feeds us a generous serving, dripping with funk.

When the world's hard to swallow, one can medicate, but one can also meditate, as Leo does on the last two songs. The space jazz-rock-infused "Experienced That" reminds us of our cosmic selves, as we are constantly pushed and pulled between positive and negative forces. "Mirror" closes the EP with a morsel of common wisdom worth remembering: when we look at other people, what we actually see is a reflection of ourselves.

Bad Digestion is a release from KAO!INC., and was produced by Jerry Li, who also contributes on electric guitar, and features Adriano Moreira on drums, Eugene Yu (UG) on bass, Tseng-Yi Tseng on keyboard, and Minyen Hsieh on saxophones.
