Yes, yet another 24th birthday befalls us. And I say 'us' because you're all subjected to my birthday rantings. Thank you for that, and thank you for all the wishes. But mostly, thank you for tolerating me, on and off Facebook For all these years. I always feel like I've got to have something poignant to say, but this year, I am out of words. It's been a great start to 2019, I am really happy, and I'm so fortunate to be surrounded by friends and family who really love me. I don't think I could ask for more.
I'm still trying to cope with my mommy no longer being around. Every year, the first thing I'd wake up to in the morning, no matter where I was in the world, was my mommy calling me to wish me a happy birthday. I miss her voice. But I know she wouldn't want me to be moping around feeling forlorn. So I'll suck it up, and try to be happy.
As much as I love gifts, I have to say, I'm overwhelmed with them. There are gifts I received last year, which I still haven't opened/used yet. So, if you really want to do something cute for me, I urge you, in lieu of gifts, to donate to my favorite charity - Pooch Rescue (L) Foundation, at Maybank account # 515120614422.
