愛爾蘭官方廣播電視《RTE,Raidió Teilifís Éireann》奧運專頁,頭版除咗即日(Day 7)消息之外,頂置報導嗰個應該同香港一樣:何詩蓓 Siobhan Haughey。
//The Hong Kong athlete made history for her country on Wednesday when she won the nation's first Olympic swimming medal by taking silver in the 200m freestyle.

https://youtu.be/Pjj6jfO3MmI
The Lakesixi swimming pools have changed a lot over the years. Every year they get filled, and then rebuilt in another location. Yet every year they stay the best place to swim in Southern Taiwan. This year it's lasted longer than ever before, due to the absence of the plum rains.
This video is the history of how it came to be, and what process causes it to have such beautiful colors.
Despite being possibly the safest place to swim in any river, ( An adult can stand at any give point in the pool, it doesn't have currents, and the water is warm and clear) haters are still trying to close it due to safety concerns. This point is moot, because it will disappear in the next heavy rain, but I still urge people to resist having wilderness access taken away from them. It's not under article 26 of the Act for Tourism Development yet... but if it is, you're never going to get it back.
Btw, it's only a coincidence that we have a COVID outbreak at this time. The friction over this river started much earlier. And the attempted closure is unrelated to covid. Obviously everyone stay home this weekend, I am at home too, and wait until the COVID situation improves before going back out.

Dear NTU students and colleagues,
.
The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has just announced a four-week Phase II Alert (Yellow Light) starting today until June 8. The University is asking all of its academic and administrative offices to abide by the following preventive measures.
.
1. University premises must be staffed to take temperatures at the entrance. This is complemented by real-name swipe-in entry control developed by the Computer and Information Networking Center. Those without a university ID card may enter premises by filling out personal information in paper.
.
2. Indoor events with over 100 people and outdoor events with over 500 people will be suspended. The University’s Sports Center, Old Sport Center, and outdoor swimming pool will be closed temporarily except for classes and varsity team training. Members may request membership term extension or a refund.
.
Event organizers must provide sufficient hand sanitizers at the entrance, implement real-name system, and take temperatures. People undergoing home quarantine, home isolation or self-health management, or those living with family members undergoing home quarantine, home isolation or self-health management, as well as those showing suspected symptoms such as fever, respiratory complications, diarrhea, and abnormality of smell and taste should be barred from participation. The event space must be kept well-ventilated and no eating or drinking is allowed. Also, eventgoers should keep social distancing (1.5 meters indoors and 1 meter outdoors), move within designated personal spaces, and wear a mask at all times.
.
3. In response to this elevated alert, the University has launched a digitalization plan for classes enrolled by 100 students or more. Classes with less than 100 students are preferably taught online if the 1.5 meter social distancing cannot be kept. For classes taught in classrooms, students and lecturers are required to wear a mask at all times.
.
4. As the COVID-19 is still raging, please again be reminded to always wear a mask when you go out, wash hands frequently, and keep appropriate social distancing. Be on alert for suspected symptoms: fever, respiratory complications, diarrhea, and abnormality of smell and taste. If they appear, please wear a medical mask, immediately seek medical attention at a nearby hospital for COVID-19 testing, and refrain from using any public transportation. When in the hospital for treatment, please voluntarily tell the physician your contact and travel history, potential occupational exposure to the virus, as well as people around you with similar symptoms. When you return home, please also wear a medical mask and avoid going out if not necessary.
.
Sincerely yours,
NTU Epidemic Prevention Team

Building history:
The original building of 1926 Heritage Hotel was built in 1926, the property once a home to British colonial immigration officers and local administrators of Penang.
Location:
1926 Heritage Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the historic city of Georgetown, founded in 1786 by Captain Francis Light.
Listed as a UNESCO heritage city, Georgetown is a one of a kind melting pot of cultures, heritage, foods and festivals from diverse communities.
Exterior and interior
Located off Imigresen Road and Burma Road, 1926 Heritage Hotel occupies 24 heritage link houses beautifully restored to its former glory
In 1999 The State Government of Penang invested a significant amount of funds to refurbish this colonial property as a heritage hotel with most of its Anglo-Malay architectural essence still intact. Surrounded by spacious rooms, wooden interiors, long corridors, balmy balconies, beautiful Victorian windows as well as pictures of the old Penang, a sense of nostalgia can be felt throughout the property.
Amenities
The 1926 Heritage Hotel has just refurbished all the rooms and changed all furniture and bedding. The hotel also provides amenities such as LCD TVs, tea and coffee making and mini fridge. Free wi-fi is standard feature in all rooms and in the public areas. There is also a swimming pool and kids pool for guests to take a dip in sunny day.
Every second we spent in 1926 Heritage Hotel was filled with nostalgia of the British colonial era. We also loved the convenient location of the hotel as most of our favorite Penang street foods are well within reach.
