We're now all accustomed to this 24/7 lifestyle, how can we follow our dreams when we are on standby 24/7 for work, and most importantly, how can we follow our dreams without that sweet sweet capital?

We are an indie band based in Hong Kong, trying to make quality music to the best of our ability. This music video was shot on an iPhone, and edited together by the three of us.
.
Even though we can't afford to have an amazing music video put together, we hope this low budget project can be a vehicle to bring our music to more people, and also act as an example that you don't need a lot of budget to get your stuff out there. Sometimes I feel like artistes hesitate to share with the world, because "we don't have a music video" or "we don't have a marketing budget", and hold off from releasing, because we don't want to "waste" the song. We fell into that trap, but realized, you know, if we keep having this mindset, we'll eventually just have a bunch of songs gathering dust on the shelf that never reach ears other than the three of us in band practice, so screw it, let's just put it out there!

If this were a picture with a positive quote, you would’ve thought I had a great day.
You would’ve thought my life is full of good luck and positivity, and things are always easy for me because of the ways I look at things.

Truth is, it’s not.

In fact, I had a rough day with unexpected bumps & setbacks the whole day. As much as I knew these experience will eventually help me grow, I can’t help but feel a little down & demotivated.😞

But you wouldn’t guessed that if I didn’t say it out…would you?🧐

Just this morning, my patient told me that she’s on a Social Media Detox.
With more time spent on social media, it’s easy to put ourselves in a toxic pressure where we think we have to “live the best life” all the time.

As a person who tend to avoid sharing negative things in life, I can relate to that. I always have the mindset that I should NOT talk about the bad stuff, the negative stuff online, because I don’t want to make social media a depressing space.

But life is not perfect.

In fact, we have and we NEED the “lows”…so we can appreciate the “highs”. It is important for us to acknowledge our negative emotions and accept it as a part of growth. After all, it is never a good thing to hide your devil, but to learn how to co-exist with it.

We are humans. And our emotions, grey or bright, are what make our lives colourful. Admitting that you’re going through something bad in life once in a while doesn’t make you weak, it makes you more human.

I guess this was a long post for saying “I had a bad day”.😂 But hey, it’s me, and I like sharing stuff in my brain. So if you had a bad day, know that it too shall pass, and if Kayla can do it, you can do it better. 😆💪

(Eng below) 我花了好一陣子籌劃一個社區地圖，現在終於有空開始進行!以我長期在台北居住多年的通化夜市一帶為中心，將我親身的總總經歷，其中的日常與古怪都融入畫中，並樂在其中。雖然我曾經在畫作中包含人物，這將是我首次加入交通的元素，畢竟這是台北生活日常的一部份。我想我會再製作一份像我多年前繪製的Taipei Trail Map一樣，有詳細文字解說的地圖。我希望能夠以肖像畫的精神，勾勒出台北社區的生命故事。期待在接下來的這幾個月和大家分享此計畫的進度!去年我在為畫蒐集素材時，上傳了這支無俚頭的影片到Instagram:通化南端有一座牆，看起來像80年代電玩"Space Invaders"!

I've been planning a very local scale drawing for some time now. I finally have some time to get started properly on it! It'll be focused on the Tonghua Night Market neighborhood where I've lived for all my time in Taipei. I'm having fun adding all the things I've experienced here over the years, from the everyday to the odd. While I've added people to my drawings before this is the first time I've decided to add traffic. It is after all a part of life here. I think I'll make a text version too in the same way I did with the Taipei Trail Map from years ago. I'd like it to become a portrait of a Taipei neighborhood, full of the stories that make up life here. Excited to share the progress over the next few months! Video is a silly thing I put on Instagram last year when I started gathering stuff to put on this drawing. There's a wall at the south end of Tonghua that looks like the Space Invaders videogame from the 1980's!

免費的線上影片沒有完整的課程規劃、內容零散，讓有心學習木工的同學，難以全面的學習，間接浪費了寶貴時間與多走不少冤枉路。

第三點
木匠養成學院在100%完成後，仍會繼續更新新課程，通過學員的回饋新增課程內容，當然在屆時課程費用勢必會再調漲，但已經購買的同學是可免費觀看，不會在額外收費，這也是為了感謝同學的支持。

第四點
我遇過不少同學，曾上過各個木工房的木工課程後，過不久就將學習過的木工知識與技巧忘的一乾二淨。如果是線上課程就可重複觀看吸收，不會有學習時限的問題。

This cake is low in calories and fat. Of course, you can make it with zero-calorie sugar.
The point of this recipe is not to whip the meringue too much. The cake will crack.

➢Cake Mold 15〜18cm. (6in.〜7in.)
300g unsweetened yogurt (1.05 cup)
3 egg yolks
54g flour (6 Tbsp)
3 egg whites
84g sugar (7 Tbsp)
-Optional
1 tbsp lemon juice
vanilla
Bake at 150°C（302F） for 60 min + 180°C（356F）for a few minutes to brown
*Egg size is L. 20g yolk and 40g egg white per egg.
