Celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival virtually with Teck Ghee and Jalan Kayu residents over the weekend. Besides live performances, participants also took part in interactive games and quizzes. Kudos to the TG & JK teams for coming up with creative ways to entertain everyone at home!

Mid-Autumn Festival is usually a time for families to get together to enjoy delicious mooncakes and moon-gazing, while children play with colourful lanterns. As the fight against COVID-19 continues, I am glad we can use technology to stay safe and connect with families and friends, no matter where we are in the world.

Hello! You might know me as a comedian on stage but the last notable work I've done was writing and directing MACC's 6-episode series on Astro and that was last year. Since then, I've actually been on Twitch managing RAMBO TAN who looks set to have a flourishing career in a bizarre world.

I love creating and if I'm being honest, probably just a bitttttt more than performing (I still freaking love performing). It's because creation doesn't need a postcode. It doesn't have to be tethered to a stage. I can create in any space.

These days, I do it at The Chariot Agency. I am the head of Chariot Creators, the creative influencer arm! I am proud and humbled to stand alongside my long time friends Jarrod Reginald and Adrian Cheah.

(Please don't tell them I have never worked a day in my life.)

Most of my upcoming work are built around one of my favorite past times, collaborations. To many of my creative friends, let's get back in touch!

Also... for the first time in my life, I have a 'proper job' (according to my mum).

{IG Giveaway} Did you know that the ladybug is called 瓢虫 (piáo chóng) in Chinese or that car is Kereta in Malay?

We had so much fun learning from this Press and Learn English-Malay-Chinese Words Sound Book from @bababaa.sg which contains 144 words (each word comes in three languages) covering 9 subjects including zoo animals, farm animals, insects, underwater world, vegetables, fruits, vehicles, things at home and colours and shapes. This book motivates the kids to be multilingual and I'm excited to see them picking up Malay words for the first time ever. It is also a good way for them to learn and reinforce their Chinese - some of these words are new to them , for instance 蝉、芦笋、鼷鹿、渡轮 etc. While the English words might seem easiest for them, I take the opportunity to teach my kindergartener to spell more words and practise his phonics too.

The kids love how interactive and easy to use the book is and the beautiful illustrations make it even more engaging. Our bedtime reading just got more interesting and I can't wait to see what new words they are gonna learn next.

P.S. Yes, we try to include the baby in our reading sessions because it's always good to start young, right?
