The band was nominated for multiple awards at the Golden Indie Music Awards in Taiwan in 2016 and 2019 and won the Best Vocal Group Award at the 2019 Golden Melody Awards (the equivalent of the Grammy Awards in the Chinese-speaking world.)The members first met each other in high school and officially formed their band in college, calling themselves The Chairs in order to enter singing competitions because the room they were in at the time had only guitars and, well, chairs. Now with three albums under their belt, they admit they’re still learning about the music business in Asia and other parts of the world. Their first U.S. tour was cancelled when the pandemic broke out in New York. “It was the toughest time for us,” says Chiu. BỘT MÀU KHOAI TÂY CÀ RỐT CHÀO SÂN LÀNG VĂN HÓA INDIE BẰNG MV ĐẦU TAY ‘NGÀY CHỦ NHẬT’

Bột Màu Khoai Tây Cà Rốt (BMKTCR) là một ban nhạc đam mê pop, rock, folk, gồm 5 thành viên: Bột Màu (sáng tác + hát), Khoai Tây (bass), Cà Rốt (sáng tác + sản xuất), Khoai Lang (lead) và Khoai Sâm Đất (drum).

Là một nhóm nhạc độc lập, BMKTCR luôn muốn chia sẻ những sản phẩm tự làm và chất lượng đến với người yêu nhạc. Sáng tác của nhóm đa dạng từ pop, rock cho đến nhạc đương đại và alternative. Những sản phẩm của nhóm có thể được tìm thấy một cách chính thức trên channel YouTube hoặc ít chính thức hơn một chút ở các show định kỳ tại Homeland Artists Sài Gòn. BMKTCR đã từng biểu diễn tại các sân khấu âm nhạc tại Sài Gòn như 'Hố Chuột' (được tổ chức bởi Miki Rock Club), Người Đi Đun Mưa (được tổ chức bởi Homeland Artists) và chuỗi show Singer-Songwriter Night (được tổ chức bởi InQ International).

Những tình cảm chân thật này mang theo một sự kỳ vọng và chờ đợi vô cùng to lớn. Nó đã thật sự cứu chúng tôi ra khỏi sự bế tắc trong nhiều lúc không biết làm sao bây giờ với những sáng tác đã thành tiếng nhưng chưa thành hình của mình. Và đây cũng là phần thưởng quý giá nhất để chúng tôi cày tiếp game này.” - BMKTCR chia sẻ

'Em Ơi Làm Sao Bây Giờ?' là sự trăn trở của một người trẻ trong tình yêu và trong cuộc sống bộn bề, khi người mình yêu không ở bên cạnh mà công việc và cảm xúc thì cứ biến thiên liên tục. Kịch bản MV lấy ý tưởng từ chính những nỗi niềm của Bột Màu và Cà Rốt, ngụy trang dưới diễn xuất của Khazsak để có thể dễ dàng được đón nhận từ mọi người hơn.

Ca khúc được sáng tác vào khoảng quý 1 năm 2018 bởi Bột Màu. Cà Rốt chịu trách nhiệm sản xuất nhưng do thiếu kinh nghiệm nên phải mất gần 3 năm sửa đi sửa lại mới có thể hoàn thành. Ban đầu ban nhạc chỉ có Bột Màu, Khoai Tây và Cà Rốt nên ý tưởng phối khí còn đơn sơ. Về sau, sự có mặt của Khoai Sâm Đất và Khoai Lang với vai trò chơi drum và lead đã giúp 'Ngày Chủ Nhật (Em Ơi Làm Sao Bây Giờ?)' thực sự chỉn chu và có thể ra mắt các bạn yêu quý. Sau nhạc phẩm lần này, BMKTCR dự định sẽ cho ra mắt EP mang tên Rốc - cũng là những ca khúc đã được ấp ủ từ lâu và đã được hát đi hát lại bên tai những người có duyên với ban nhạc từ những ngày đầu.

Sony Music artists across Asia have united to create a stunning rendition of Taiwanese superstar Eric Chou’s original track “Forever Beautiful.” The new collaborative version titled “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” features Eric Chou alongside 14 artists from nine regions across Asia singing in both Chinese and English.

In “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version”, the 14 collaborating artists joined Eric Chou by recording their parts remotely across the Asia region, to convey an important message through these touching lyrics: we may speak and sing in different languages and represent the many ethnicities and cultures of Asia, but we are all united with solidarity and support. In these challenging times, music can bring hope and peace along with the message of love and compassion.

Alongside Eric Chou, the artists featured in “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” represent the vibrant and diverse roster of Sony Music Asia, including Eric Chou (the original singer/songwriter) and singer Kelly Cheng from Taiwan, Wafa, a member from Bahiyya Haneesa (an acapella group from Malaysia), R&B-pop singer NYK, Singaporean artists Benjamin Kheng, Narelle and Sezairi, HÀ LÊ, a vocalist from Vietnam, popular indie-folk-pop band Ben&Ben from the Philippines, singer-songwriter and producer E.viewz from South Korea, singer Fatin from Indonesia, singer-songwriter Jocelyn C from Beijing, and Hong Kong artists Phil Lam, Jason Chan, and Cath Wong.

The video for “Forever Beautiful: All for One Version” features a montage of footage featuring all 15 artists singing their parts, along with images that reflect the current situation across the Asian region.

Hey! Thanks so much for checking out my live radio performance of my first original English lyrics & music song "Music for You". I wrote this song to encourage others to stay on track and keep focused on doing what you love, following your passion.
This is one of four songs I performed on The Vance K Show InterFM 897 Tokyo's most popular international radio station located in TV TOKYO on July 27, 2017, just before going to perform for the FUJI ROCK Festival.

ABOUT EDEN KAI:
With millions of fans around the world, Eden Kai has earned his reputation as being a ukulele and guitar virtuoso, a Pop/R&B vocalist, and an accomplished actor. While many were first introduced to Eden when he joined the cast of Netflix and Fuji Television’s Terrace House: Aloha State, the young star’s success had already been years in the making. He has since gone on to make additional appearances on Terrace House: Tokyo 2019-2020, appeared on Shiro to Kiiro on Amazon Prime and has performed at the Fuji Rock Festival (the largest outdoor music festival in Japan), Nisei Week Festival in Little Tokyo, OC Japan Fair and ANA Honolulu Music Week in Waikiki. His most recent album, Home Sweet Home, released in 2018 and was recorded in Tokyo, Japan, produced by his music label in Japan Victor Entertainment. Three tracks from that album were featured in episodes of Netflix Japan’s Terrace House during the show’s Opening New Doors and Tokyo 2019-2020 seasons. The series also featured Eden’s instrumental compositions of “Touch the Sky” and “Feel the Earth.” “Monogatari” was his debut pop vocal single, which he wrote and performed on the show. In addition to working on his own music, Eden has collaborated with some of the world’s top artists and producers, including EXILE and Dream. One of his compositions was used to create “Anuenue,” a hit J-Pop single recorded and released by Dance Earth Party, which landed at #11 on the Oricon Music Charts in Japan.

Eden also recognizes the importance of using his music to help others. He has hosted several ukulele workshops in Honolulu and Japan, been the featured performer at the Waikiki Spam Jam, benefiting the largest non-profit in Hawaii that feeds the needy, and the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival from which proceeds helped local children in the community.
