I went out to John’s house to learn about Battling Ropes and I was blown away by all the different ways you can use them! Not to mention, also completely exhausted after 2 full days of rope work, despite being in the height of my athletic career. 😳 We filmed this video about a month later.
As rope training has grown in popularity over the years, it has really been watered down to the point that most people only use the ropes for short bursts and tend to only use things like slams, waves and circles.
There are SO many more ways to use the ropes - including rehab, stability, foundational strength, power and power endurance just to name a few! There are also endless progressions that are enough to challenge *anyone* that are not widely known.
