一開始前奏的吉他撥弦
後來又加入了很像三線琴的樂器 (我不太確定)
會有一種在沖繩的感覺
(覺得這個樂器用的很巧妙)

“Sweetest Fruits”

The sweetest nectars that drip down your throat
Pale in comparison to the tree of life alone
Which bears twelve fruits nourished
By the river that flows from Jesus’ throne.

This current ground is cursed
The earth was flooded in Noah’s time
We live in a fallen world
Its produce is far from sublime.

When our Savior King returns to reign
Imagine the taste of fruits then
How sweet and perfect each bite will be
The surpassing glory of the Millennium
We’ll feast from the life-giving tree!

We live in a post-deluge world that was already fallen and cursed because of sin. It’s no longer in its pristine condition as when it was first created.

“For this they willfully forget, that there were heavens from of old, and an earth formed out of water and amid water, by the word of God; by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.” (2 Peter‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Do you sometimes daydream about how wonderful life will be when Jesus reigns on earth in the future?

What will we do every day during the thousand years? How will it be like to live in our glorified bodies? How will the twelve different kinds of fruits of the tree of life taste and look like?

“By the river on its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow every tree for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall its fruit fail: it shall produce new fruit every month, because its waters issue out of the sanctuary; and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for healing.” (Ezekiel‬ ‭47:12‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

So many questions, and we will only have to wait and see what glorious riches of grace God has prepared for us!

Thanks for reading this post! I love to write about God’s word as led by the Holy Spirit, and sometimes a particular revelation about God’s great majesty, glory, love and grace inspires me to write a song or a poem to capture that particular moment and the feeling I received in my heart.

I also write prophetic poems for those who hire me for it. It’s amazing how the Holy Spirit whispers the title into my spirit and within minutes, the rest of the poem materializes because it’s from Him.

This is what a customer, Andy Lim, said about a personal prophetic poem that I wrote for him, “Hi bro Milton, praise the LORD!!! Love the poem, it's truly inspired by the Holy Spirit. Thanks so much for the poem. God bless you abundantly!!”
