說起馬來西亞，不得不提及這座始於15世紀的古城馬六甲，除了是馬來西亞本身的發源地之外，近年來成功的改頭換面，成為國際級的觀光景點，更被聯合國一併列入世界文化遺產之內。除此之外，無論是美國旅遊界聖經Tripadvisor，孤獨星球Lonely Planet、富比世雜誌Forbes等等都對馬六甲讚不絕口，而Money雜誌更是將馬六甲評論為CP值最高的退休地點。於是馬六甲也成為我們到馬來西亞後的第一個行程。

Today’s video features some very traditional local Ulu Food available only in my hometown, Miri, Sarawak. The Summit Café is run by local Ulu people. This small restaurant has been featured in the Lonely Planet magazine and hence, I guarantee you the taste and uniqueness of the food in this restaurant. The owner buys the ingredients fresh everyday and so, the menu might change slightly day to day. But, if you are lucky enough, you might be able to try some of the very special dishes such as oil palm shoots, the very bitter papaya tree’s flowers and…. Pig’s lungs! Follow me through the video and you will definitely regret not growing up here in my beloved Sarawak.

今天这一期讲述的是我的家乡，砂拉越美里的Ulu土著美食。The Summit Café 是一间有当地Ulu土著经营的餐馆。小地方的一间餐馆，却已被著名的Lonely Planet杂志报导，所以，我绝对能向你保证其食物的美味及特别。由于餐馆老板每日都到市集买材料，所以菜单会有点出入。但是，如果你有幸就可以品尝到一些非常稀有的食物例如棕油叶，非常苦的木瓜树花，以及猪肺！相信我，看了这一期后，你将后悔没被生为一个砂拉越人。

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam by population. It was once known as Prey Nokor prior to annexation by the Vietnamese in the 17th century. Under the name Saigon, it was the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina and later of the independent republic of South Vietnam 1955–75. On 2 July 1976, Saigon merged with the surrounding Gia Định Province and was officially renamed Ho Chi Minh City after revolutionary leader Hồ Chí Minh.
