養肝腎防筋骨痛
即使未有經歷外傷,不少人偶爾也會出現筋骨痛症,例如常用電腦的人有肩頸痛,OL或者有蹻腳習慣人士易有坐骨神經痛,姿勢不正確引致腰肌勞損會有腰背痛,又或者年紀大有退化性關節炎等。從中醫角度來看這些痛症屬於「痹證」,當風、寒、濕、熱外邪侵襲人體,閉阻經絡,氣血運行不暢而導致肌肉、筋骨、關節發生酸痛、腫脹、麻木、沉重、關節變形甚至局部熱腫等症狀。除了外來原因,中醫理論認為「肝主筋、脾主肌肉、腎主骨」,如果本身肝脾腎不足,特別容易出現筋骨痛症,例如肝血不足的人容易抽筋,脾虛的人容易感覺肌肉重墜疼痛,腎虛的人容易腰膝酸軟。
慢性痛症最煩人,想預防筋骨痛症的發生,最重要是保持經脈通暢,避免風、寒、濕、熱外邪侵襲,注意保暖,配合適量運動,避免身體聚濕,適量食用枸杞、栗子、核桃、芝麻、黑木耳、黑豆、桑椹等食材調補肝腎。
桑寄生黑豆桂圓茶
功效:養肝益腎,紓緩因肝腎不足引致的腰膝痠軟症狀。
材料:桑寄生15克、黑豆15克、桂圓9克
做法:
1. 材料洗淨放保溫瓶,以熱開水沖洗一遍,注入熱開水焗約15分鐘即可。此茶可反覆沖泡至味淡,建議一星期飲用2-3天,連續兩星期為一個療程。

Care for your liver and kidney to prevent musculoskeletal pain
Some people might experience musculoskeletal pain around joints and bones even if they have not had any external injuries. For instance, computer users with neck pain, white-collar workers or individuals who are used to crossing their legs with sciatica nerve pain, poor postures that strain the lumbar muscles leading to back pain, or elderly folk with osteoarthritis problem.
From Chinese medicine perspective, these conditions are a form of‘Bi Zheng’which can be painful obstructive syndrome or localized discomforts in the muscles, joins and tendons. It is caused by the invasion of exterior pathogens such as wind, cold, dampness and heat, which block the meridians and restrict the circulation of the blood and qi. This in turn causes pain, swelling, numbness, deformity and the overloading feeling and a warm sensation in the muscles, joints and bones.
Besides external factors, Chinese medicine theorized that ‘liver is the master of joints; spleen the master of muscles; and kidney the master of bones’, if there are deficiencies in a person’s liver, spleen and kidney, musculoskeletal pain might develop more easily. For instance, individuals with the lack of blood in the liver are prone to cramps; people with a weak spleen will feel a load of burden on their muscles; and those with weak kidneys will experience soreness on the waist and knees.
To prevent musculoskeletal pain, the most important thing is ensure a good flow of the meridians, avoid being in contact with exterior pathogens such as wind, cold, dampness and heat, and by keeping ourselves warm. Exercise regularly to prevent the accumulation of dampness in the body. Consume an appropriate amount of wolfberry, chestnut, walnut, sesame seeds, white back black fungus, black bean and mulberry to replenish the liver and kidney.
Chinese taxillus herb tea with black bean and dried longan
Effects: Nourishes liver and kidneys. Relieves symptoms of weak knees and lower back due to asthenic liver and kidney
Ingredients: 15g Chinese taxillus herb, 15g black bean, 9g dried longan
Preparation:
Place all ingredients into thermos, rinse once with hot water, and add in hot water and steep for 15-20 minutes. This tea can be re-browed until flavout weakens. For best results, drink consecutively for 2-3 days. Two weeks for a treatment.

Just some of the reasons why I no longer wear heels despite knowing the fact they do make an outfit look 10 times better. On special occasions I would just bring them in my bag
Yes I am that girl who would walk into a party in flip-flops, and kneel down, take my heels from a plastic bag and change into them only for a photo before putting my flip-flops back on😂 I might not look as great in person but I know I am doing my own body good💪🏻
Looking good is not enough of a reason to sacrifice my spine, hips, knees, calves, ankles, feet, and long term posture🙅🏻
High Heels ❌
1️⃣The higher the heels are, the more you have to arch your lower back to keep your body balanced and positioned upright, affecting the natural curve of the spine, leading to back pain, lumbar spine flattening and displacement.
2️⃣Resting all your body weight on the balls of your feet causes weight distribution to be uneven, leading to stressed nerves and lower back pain. It will also cause foot pain and long term soreness, and even bone and nerve damage (not to mention blisters and ingrown toenails).
3️⃣Back, hip and calf muscles become tense to maintain balance, causing the muscles to cramp and bulge. It will lead to "spider veins" sticking out from your legs that usually tend not to go back in.
4️⃣Excess pressure placed on knees, accelerating the wear and tear that leads to osteoarthritis.
And of course, the higher risk of having sprained ankles - all these for the sake of fashion❗️
I used to be the biggest fan of heels myself, my feet might hurt but anything to look hot! 🔥 But after studying all these facts suddenly make them sexy no more🙈 Will stick to my sandals, flip flops, and the sexiest of all - sports shoes 👟😏

Cảm giác đau nhói nhiều khi bị nhầm tưởng với “căng cơ”, dù rằng nhiều khi thủ phạm lại là những dây thần kinh bị kích thích. Vậy nên, chúng ta sẽ cần cách test cụ thể. Vì nếu đoán nhầm là căng cơ, và ta lại đi dãn, thì khả năng là những dây thần kinh sẽ lại bị ảnh hưởng thêm.
Sitting Slump Test được sử dụng để tìm hiểu về triệu chứng đau thần kinh toạ. Cái này sẽ làm gia tăng áp lực lên dây thần kinh hông (sciatic nerve) hơn so với bình thường, giúp ta phân biệt được gốc rễ của vấn đề.
Bắt đầu với người làm ở trên một cái ghế, hay bàn, với tư thế ngồi thư giãn. Mục tiêu là dần dần tăng áp lực lên dây thần kinh qua các chuyển động. Khuyến khích test này dùng người hỗ trợ để người làm thoải mái kiểm soát cơ thể.
Sau đó,
Hình a: Đầu gối người làm có thể được duỗi ra -> tăng áp lực lên dây thần kinh phần cột sống lưng dưới (lumbar spine).
Hình b: Tiếp tục giữ đầu gối bị duỗi. Gập mũi chân lên trên (foot flexion) -> lại thêm áp lực lên dây thần kinh

Nếu áp lực từ dây thần kinh tăng vào 1 trong 3 bước nói trên, làm cho cảm giác đau nhói xuất hiện, thì khả năng người làm sẽ cảm thấy thoải mái hơn qua kĩ thuật nerve flossing. Những người này cũng sẽ nên hạn chế chuyển động/bài tập làm cong cột sống về đằng trước flexion).
Nếu cổ gập về đằng trước không làm tăng thêm cơn đau, thì có lẽ không phải đau thần kinh toạ. Thay vào đó, gốc rễ của vấn đề có thể đến từ các triệu chứng (syndromes) vùng hông, như từ khớp sacroiliac (SI), đùi sau, cơ piriformis...
