How to Prophesy

“Follow after love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

But he who prophesies speaks to men for their edification, exhortation, and consolation.

Now I desire to have you all speak with other languages, but rather that you would prophesy. For he is greater who prophesies than he who speaks with other languages, unless he interprets, that the assembly may be built up.

Therefore, brothers, desire earnestly to prophesy, and don’t forbid speaking with other languages.” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭14:1, 3, 5, 39‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Firstly, it starts with knowing that all believers can operate in this gift, by the Holy Spirit.

If it wasn’t so, the apostle Paul wouldn’t ask all believers to earnestly desire to prophesy—to ask someone to earnestly desire something he will never receive is cruel, deceptive, and not the way of God.

If you haven’t received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, be filled with the Spirit and you will be activated to flow in the spiritual gifts.

Prophesying will always be edifying, exhorting (strongly urging believers to walk in God’s ways), or consoling.

It will never produce fear, worry, and it will never go against God’s word.

When desiring to prophesy for someone else or yourself, be in a conducive environment. A quiet one, or one that’s having soft praise and worship music in the background.

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what He wants to reveal about the other person or yourself.

Wait in stillness, close your eyes, and pay attention. Keep your spiritual ears open and the eyes of your heart ready to see.

Images may float up or even words and Bible verses.

Write or draw them down. As you write, more will be revealed to you as you are participating with the Holy Spirit, moving in His flow.

The video below is a praise report (testimony) I just received yesterday, showing the prophesying gift in operation.

This is Nathan’s testimony: “A year ago I was in need and you prophesied about my career, saying that I would have a job and that it is something related to “a forest type of area” and indeed it manifested. Now I am employed to one of the government agencies here in the Philippines in our province that is assigned for reformation of lands. The same Holy Spirit is in you. Simply ask Him to use you through this gift and He will gladly give you the knowledge and wisdom which belong to God!

BUKAN KAMI TAK NAK BALIK RUMAH MAK

Selalunya mak di kampung paling seronok kalau waktu cuti sekolah atau perayaan sebab tak sabar nak tunggu anak cucu balik. Anak mak 10 orang semuanya. Semua pun dah kahwin, masing-masing dah ada anak. Kalau semua balik, memang penuh rumah mak tu.

Tapi, isteri si abang ngah selalu tak nak tidur di rumah mak. Selalu dia anak beranak akan ambil homestay yang berdekatan. Pagi raya baru mereka nampak muka. Sekali dua mak okay je, lama-lama kecil hati juga hati orang tua tu.

Masa abg ngah minum kopi dengan mak pagi tu barulah mak berani tanya. Abg ngah pun perlahan-lahan bersuara.

‘ kami suka sangat kalau balik sini mak, tapi itulah kalau semua ipar duai duduk berkumpul, isteri dan anak2 perempuan saya segan sikit mak nak ke sana sini, tambah-tambah lagi bilik air kat luar kan. Nak tidur kat ruang tamu lagi jadi susah sikit nak buka aurat. Kalau kat homestay mereka selesa sikit nak buka aurat’

‘Laaa, itu sebabnya. Mak faham sekarang, tapi kebetulan pula minggu lepas mak baru beli beberapa helai tuala saiz besar. Memang mak beli untuk kegunaan anak cucu yang balik ni’
‘Kalau anak isteri kamu ke bilik air, tak payah lagi bawa tudung, bawa tuala...bawa 1 tuala pun dah cukup nak tutup kepala sampai ke paras punggung’

‘Inshaa Allah selesai masalah tu, jadi bolehlah stay sini sampai malam pun kan’ senyum mak sambil merenung dalam ke mata abang ngah.

Alhamdulillah, towel ‘patuh syariah’ yang diberi jolokan oleh kebanyakan pelanggan kami ini menjadi idaman isteri-isteri dan anak-anak perempuan semua kerana saiznya yang besar dan sangat selesa digunakan.

NOT THAT WE DON ' T WANT TO GO HOME TO MOM'S

Usually the mother in the village is the most fun during school holidays or festivities because I can't wait for my children and grandchildren All 10 kids. Everyone is married, everyone has a child. If everyone comes back, the mother's house will be full.

But, brother's wife always doesn't want to sleep at mom's house. Usually the children will take a nearby homestay. They only see their faces during Eid. Once or two mothers are okay, the old people's heart will be small too.

For many years,I have been told I have a voice that fits that of a Disney prince and recently I started working on covers with Jessica who has been told she sounds like a Disney princess, so I guess it just makes sense to do a Disney cover together haha
PS I hope to voice a Disney prince one day

We decided to try something new with the recording and do video afterwards to make it more entertaining...hopefully lol We even tried to find outfits that resemble the characters :P Can't wait for the Aladdin movie to come out later this month!
