🌟 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬. Do you know what is Trigger Foods?
Take Charge of Your 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬
It is as important to know what NOT to eat as what to eat. Over the last 50 years the food industry has developed lots of snack foods and soft drinks I call Trigger Foods that people eat when they are stressed or bored even though they may not be hungry.
They have lots of calories, fat, sugar, and salt, which can sabotage your weight loss efforts. Typically, “you can’t eat just one!” It is important to identify your personal Trigger Foods. For women, these typically include cake, chocolate, ice cream, cookies, and candy.
For men, these typically include savory tastes such as pizza, chips, and foods with savory tastes like chili or hot sauce. Colas and soft drinks are also Trigger Foods.
As with any habit you want to change identify the cues and when you notice the craving. Then try reducing portion size or substituting healthier choices or doing something else to reduce your stress.
Many Trigger Foods are eaten unconsciously, especially fast foods. If you have Trigger Foods in your pantry-stop buying them! Identifying your Trigger Foods is the first step in controlling these diet troublemakers.

Surely a few biscuits a day will not make you fat? Well, not overnight. But the extra calories accumulates, days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months...Office snacks can make us fat if we're not careful with how much and what we're consuming. It is incredibly easy to over consume calorie dense snacks, especially at work during the meetings, or when you’re bored.
When hunger strikes, instead of reaching for biscuits or chips in the pantry or vending machine, opt for some healthy snacks such as trail mix, oat bite, or fruits!
If you're prepared with your own healthy snacks you won't be tempted by any unhealthy choices available at the work! What is your favourite snacks at work? Let me know in the comments below.
