美國在台協會日前與原住民委員會、外交部以及日本台灣交流協會合作，於9月29日在帛琉共同主辦了2019年「全球合作暨訓練架構（GCTF）南島語言復振國際論壇」。 來自9個國家的專家學者參加了此次論壇，這也是全球合作暨訓練架構首次在台灣外舉辦研討會。 第二天(9月30日)台灣為南島論壇的總部大樓揭幕，此論壇是一個旨在推廣南島語言和文化的區域組織。我們祝賀台灣在建立與振興該區域的網絡扮演了領導的角色，以加強太平洋島國之間的人與人交流方面。#GlobalCooperationandTrainingFramework #GCTF
In partnership with the Council of Indigenous Peoples, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, AIT co-hosted the 2019 Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) International Austronesian Languages Revitalization Forum on September 29 in Koror, Palau. Speakers and participants from nine countries attended this GCTF workshop, which was the first held outside Taiwan. The following day, on September 30, Taiwan inaugurated the headquarters building of the Austronesian Forum, a regional organization created to promote Austronesian languages and culture. Congratulations to Taiwan for its leadership in establishing and invigorating this regional network to enhance people-to-people exchanges among Pacific island countries.
