六一又到了，我不管，本宝宝永远都要过儿童节！永远都记得暑假里跟小伙伴相约出去玩的时候，在晒到快让我融化的太阳下吃一大口刨冰的感觉～正好最近新get了小丸子同款刨冰机，所以今天就来做2种不同口味的刨冰。密瓜冰甜美清爽，花生牛奶冰香醇浓厚，一秒回到动画片里的夏天~
Children's day is comming. Today I use the shaved ice machine, the same one in Chibi Maruko-chan, to make melon and peanut shaved ice. Awesome specially in summer!!!!

Bingsu (빙수)... Korean iced dessert. :-)
Do you know that our local Caffé Bene outlets just use shaved ice, similar to Ais Kacang? I just learnt that this is not the proper way to prepare bingsu! If Koreans see this, they will be insulted!
But you don't need to travel to Korea to enjoy authentic bingsu. There is one restaurant in Penang which has this snow flake machine. :-)

Convenience Store Familymart and Confectionery company Morinaga collaborate ice desserts 'Ramune Frappe' and 'Milk Caramel Frappe'. Morinaga ramune and milk caramel are popular Dagashi cheap candies. Ramune frappe is like a soda or sprite flavored frappe with ramune candy toppings, Milk Caramel frappe contains chocolate chips. Ramune frappe is 298 yen(2.7 USD), Milk Caramel frappe is 320 yen(2.9 USD). We usually use convenience store's coffee machine for adding milk, but I took home. I used slightly warmed milk. They are suitable for hot days!
