Những tin đồn cho rằng Sarri sẽ bật bãi khỏi Juventus chỉ sau 1 mùa giải duy nhất lên nhan nhản ở khắp các mặt báo. Nhưng chính ông Fabio Paratici – GĐTT của đội chủ sân Allianz đã khẳng định tương lai của Sarri bằng tuyên bố với Sky Sports Italia:
“Maurizio Sarri sẽ tiếp tục là HLV trưởng của Juventus ở mùa giải năm sau, đó là điều chắc chắn. Juve luôn có một kế hoạch dài hạn với các HLV."
