【競賽活動分享 - Amplify Trading 2021 Global Markets Competition 】

Dear student,

Building on the success of our 2020 Sales & Trading Insights competition (in partnership with Morgan Stanley), Amplify Trading is proud to present the 2021 Global Markets Competition | APAC!

This competition aims to help university students to gain a practical understanding of the popular graduate roles in finance, more specifically, Sales & Trading, Asset Management, Wealth Management, Hedge Fund, and Research.

The competition is free to enter and will take place virtually starting from 17th Jan 2021. Undergraduates and postgraduates from any field of study are eligible to apply.

Awards:

Grand prize: GBP 300/person & Intensive Summer Training Program (GBP 2300)
1st Runner-up: GBP 150/person & Intensive Summer Training Program
2nd Runner-up: Intensive Summer Training Program
All Finalists: Exclusive networking event

[Australia-Vietnam] UTS-HCMUT Research School 2020

Cả nhà ơi chị vừa biết được thông tin chương trình hè nghiên cứu được tổ chức bởi trường ĐH Công nghệ Sydney (UTS) với trường ĐH Bách Khoa TPHCM (HCMUT) mình nè. Đây là chương trình nhằm thúc đẩy trao đổi hợp tác giữa các nhà khoa học, công ty công nghệ giữa Úc và Việt Nam cũng như tạo điều kiện cho các bạn trẻ tìm cơ hội nghiên cứu sau đại học (PhD) và làm việc tại Úc.

Chủ đề của RS2020 sẽ là về sự phát triển của các công nghệ nền tảng cho cho một xã hội thông minh và bền vững.

ĐỐI TƯỢNG: Giảng viên, nhà nghiên cứu, kỹ sư, sinh viên đại học năm cuối, sinh viên thạc sỹ và tiến sỹ. Nhờ mọi người chia sẻ mạnh cho bạn bè liên quan ha.

HỌC BỔNG: hỗ trợ việc ăn ở đi lại cho các bạn tham gia từ khắp nơi trên Việt Nam đến TP. Hồ Chí Minh tham gia chương trình.

NỘI DUNG chương trình:
- Các bài giảng từ các giáo sư đến từ trường UTS và HCMUT là chuyên gia trong các lĩnh vực AI, IoT, cybersecurity, robotics, 5G, big data analytics, mm-Wave, smart electrical energy systems, reconfigurable antennas và blockchain.
- Trình bày nghiên cứu trong cuộc thi Poster với giải thưởng Best Poster Award
- Sự kiện social networking.

- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Academic transcripts and evidence of English proficiency (for student applicants)
- A recommendation letter (for student applicants)
- Any other evidence/information that may support your application
- Title and abstract of the poster (if you wish to compete in the student Poster Competition)

"Happy to be back with all these medals to home ground here in UM Arena"

After I started off running for two years, I always have a clear goal of one day to win the Double Gold in 5000M and 10000M like my idol @gomofarah did in Olympic. Glad I did it in my Final Year and also won the title "Best Sportsman Award"

Throughout the 4 years journey in UM, spending most of my time on the track, hostel, library, sports centre and went back home on the weekend for family time, sometime travel for competition. Being a lone ranger, doing my best to defend UM's Long Distance legacy after legends like @sheelasamivellu @albert_1206 Murali, followed by Amirul Syazwan, @awanrun Throughout my years in UM, I am still scouting for the next UM student to continue the legacy after me. Hoping someone can replace me next year to defend the fame.

I would like to take this opportunity to share with all the UM Athletes here, always be prepare and ready for the challenge. It's not easy but is achievable with discipline, consistency, and a clear goal on what you want and fight for it. Be more independent, ask, seek, read, look for more info to improve.

All hardwork paid off with all these achievement.

Remembered being on the track at 6am everyday, hit the bed by 11pm. Spend time reading running books, research journals, discussing with my lecturer, analysing, looking for more insights, and always the first one to volunteer to be the lab rat when comes to lab test to find out more about my ability and capability. Would like to thank everyone of you who have been with me all these while, supporting, watching my back, giving me advice, shaping me and seeing me grow from a nobody to where I am today. Truly grateful with all these support I have from all of you!

I will work hard and do my best to achieve my dream of one day to take down the 5000M (14:06.84) and 10000M (29:30.19) National Record owned by Ramachandran Murusamy back in the year I born. Self-Belief!
