สตูดิโอ Frogwares ประกาศนำเกม The Sinking City มาวางจำหน่ายในเวอร์ชันปรับปรุงกราฟิกให้กับ Xbox Series X และ Series S แล้วเป็นที่เรียบร้อย

สำหรับเวอร์ชันนี้ จะมีการปรับปรุง พัฒนาทั้งในด้านของกราฟิกและประสิทธิภาพตัวเกมให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ด้วยขุมพลังของคอนโซลยุคใหม่ โดยมีรายการคร่าว ๆ ดังต่อไปนี้

- ความละเอียด 4K ที่ 60 fps
- ปรับปรุงความคมชัดของกราฟิก
- ใช้เวลาในการโหลดน้อยลง
- เควสต์เพิ่มเติม ที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ DLC "Merciful Madness" (รวมอยู่กับ Deluxe Edition หรือซื้อแยกต่างหาก)

อย่างไรก็ตาม สำหรับใครที่มีเกมในเวอร์ชันของเครื่อง Xbox One จะยังไม่สามารถอัปเกรดมาเป็นเวอร์ชันนี้ได้ สืบเนื่องมาจากขณะนี้ Frogwares ยังคงมีปัญหาเรื้อรังกับทางผู้จัดจำหน่ายอยู่ ซึ่งทำให้การปล่อยเกมในรอบนี้ ทาง Frogwares ได้ตัดสินใจเป็นผู้จัดจำหน่ายด้วยตนเอง
