South Park ในตอนนี้เอาเรื่องการคุกเข่าของนักกีฬาขึ้นมาเป็นหัวข้อ

แล้วตอนท้ายสุดผู้จัดงานบอก

ขอให้ทุกคนยืนขึ้น ..... คุกเข่า ..... และอื่นๆ
อะไรก็ได้ เพื่อแสดงความเคารพเพลงชาติหมด

จนนักกีฬาไม่สามารถทำอะไรได้

เพราะการคุกเข่านั้นในตัวของมันเอง
เดิมทีมันไม่ได้เป็นการแสดงการต่อต้าน
มันไม่ได้เป็นการกระทำที่มีการคุกคามกลับใส่ผู้อื่น

และมันเอาไว้ใช้แสดงความเคารพได้ด้วยในขณะเดียวกัน

ซึ่งตรงจุดนี้
สมมุติว่าสิ่งที่นักกีฬาเลือกทำ
คือการชี้นิ้วไปที่อะไรสักอย่าง
มันก็ยังเป็นการแสดงออกว่า ฉันต่อต้านสิ่งนั้นๆได้อยู่
เพราะเดิมทีมันใช้เพื่อการนั้น

ตรงนี้แหละครับคือข้อแตกต่าง
ระหว่างการชูมือชี้นิ้ว
และการคุกเข่า

มันมีเส้น Vector ที่ชี้ใส่สิ่งที่คุณต่อต้านแบบเป็นรูปธรรม
และระดับความคุกคามที่ต่างกันครับ
