疫情待在家,運動量減少的狀況下,是否體重開始上升,甚至靠節食來減重呢?我們都知道減重的秘訣3分靠運動,7分靠飲食,但你知道節食會帶給身體多大的傷害嗎?
❌身體機能的運作開始不正常
大腦開始暈眩耳鳴、身體虛弱無力、手腳逐漸冰冷⋯等,更有研究發現透過節食來減重的過程,肌肉量會開始減少,也代表著身體的基礎代謝率也會下降。而基礎代謝率就是維持人體器官運作所需的最低能量,所以建議儘管在減重,最低熱量攝取不能低於1200大卡喔!
❌節食結束迎來的卻是復胖
節食會造成我們經常聽到的溜溜球效應,也就是在回到一般飲食後,會容易變成易胖體質,就算吃很少,體重還是會上升,而增加的重量大多還是脂肪,更容易因為節食,導致報復性飲食的問題產生,反而造成反效果。

不論在學或是居家工作者,節食更有可能造成注意力、工作效率和判斷力變差,也容易導致情緒控管失調的狀況,大腦的反應相對也會變得差勁。

This is how my body changed in less than a year!
Four different phases of me, which one do you like best? I like all of them except the very first one a year ago before managing my weight!

Before weight/body management in May 2020 (1st pic, BF at 3x%), I had no energy and motivation to move, having low self-esteem for not being able to wear a XS dress (fyi: im 5ft tall so its normal to wear a XS dress).
The 2nd pic was me after 4-5 months of combined cardio and weight training, body fat at 18%. Feeling energetic and happy! But controlled diet at around 1200-1300 kcal only, craving carbs all the time esp rice 🍚
The 3rd pic was me near the end of my bulking cycle, where I ate so so much and being so fulfilling every day. I ate over my TDEE, lots of carbs (and of course protein) and that gave me power to lift!
The 4th pic is me currently, around 2 weeks out for my first bodybuilding competition! First time seeing myself being so lean and I am super excited about another bulking cycle after the competitions now!!

PROBLEM: Skipping breakfast is strongly correlated with weight gain. "Start your day off right," right? Still, young people eat nearly half of their daily calories between 4 p.m. and midnight. So, eat breakfast, but what's best?
MEDICAL RESEARCH: An experiment out of the University of Missouri involved overweight or obese females, aged 18 to 20, who identified as infrequent breakfast eaters. Each morning for a week, the researchers had the participants eat either 350 calories of cereal (13 grams of protein), 350 calories of eggs and beef (35 grams of protein), or skip breakfast entirely.
RESULT: Eating any breakfast was associated with increased feelings of fullness, a reduced desire to eat, and lower levels of ghrelin (a hunger-stimulating hormone) throughout the morning. But meaty, eggy breakfast was associated with these benefits over the course of the entire day. Participants who had a lot of protein in the morning also had reductions in their "cravings-related" brain activity, and increased levels of a hormone associated with satiety. They snacked less on fatty foods in the evening, as compared to those who ate cereal or nothing.
CONCLUSION: This makes a pretty good MEDICAL PROOF that we should take a high-protein breakfast
