I was a very timid and shy boy upon growing up
overshadowed by my 2 elder brothers of one year apart ... Can’t believe how my Mum gave birth to 3 Boys every year - Haha with another 2 Boys 3 years apart .
My late Dad took me under his arm and trained me to become more confident .
He made me joined the Debate , Story telling , Public Speaking , gave me a microphone with a speaker and made me speak in front of him on a weekly basis on any given topics .
And all these when I was 7-8 years old and he’s always there at all my Competitions ...
I started winning them and my confidence slowly grew representing my Schools at every level .
I started became the Head Prefect at my Primary School and Badan Wakil Pelajar for 3 years at MRSM Muar ...
It does teach me about leadership qualities as I grow up , not shy on expressing my thoughts at all times , questioning why , why and why if a task is given .
As I undergo my Astronaut training in Russia I learned a lot from my fellow Astronauts to have the right attitude and the right stuffs .
To be positive at all times .
To be fearless
To be able to be in command and work as a team
To be in control and not let your emotions influence your decision
To be multitasking
To believe in your abilities and many more ...
My point is - Leaders are not born but could be nurtured ... You learn from your environment and colleagues to bring out the best in you in whatever you do .
But everything comes from Knowledge ...
It’s important to be well-read and gain as much knowledge as possibly could . That’s the only way to be confident and at ease on stage .
TQ Dad for making me what I am today ...
Salam Everyone .
Love As Always ...
PS - Truly missing my late Dad .
AlFatihah to him ...
