To all the mothers we know in our days. Happy Mother's Day! Whether it is forever your own mom, your step mom, your adoptive mom, your father, your nana, your best friend...mothers are magical and, human.

We have We are meant to love more than we know, hope we all have the chance to experience that knowledge in our lives.

Thank you Tay Cher Siang for proposing this little duet - you are my 'music mom' ? He texted me on Wednesday (I think after I posted a few old pics of my mom on FB) to suggest this song video project. Here it is, this is a little mashup arranged by Cher Siang, P Ramlee's Ibu and 世上只有妈妈好. Thank you Terence Chong for teaching me how to record myself on professional gadgets, and mixing for us.

Cher Siang also helped compiled many of the photos we borrowed from friends, thank you kampong! Photos of mothers, children, and family from: Bernie Chan, Masako Umeeda, Jaynell Ling, my sister Yvonne Lee & Chee Julius who helped scanned my mother's old photos, Tee Pee, AJ Popshuvit, Winnie Majig, May Mow, Kj Wong, Chong See Ming, Pc Foo and Cher Siang for his family photos.

It's my first proper home recording, the recording experience, though unnerving and the vocals far from perfect - I have chosen a take that felt the closest to the goal I had in mind: an heartfelt expression.

To my own mom, someone who's been through journeys I can only now beginning to grasp a tip of it, I wish you love and I hope we can be the best of friends.
