G7會議第一位到英國嘅元首係拜登，而主埸英國嘅首相Boris Johnson就即時要求一齊簽份參考當年邱吉爾同羅斯福响1941年簽嘅大西洋憲章（“Atlantic charter”），肥波向傳媒宣布嘅時候特別一字不漏抄考邱吉爾當年嘅原文，
“While Churchill and Roosevelt faced the question of how to help the world recover following a devastating war, today we have to reckon with a very different but no less intimidating challenge...Cooperation between the UK and US, the closest of partners and the greatest of allies, will be crucial for the future of the world’s stability and prosperity."
