【 #樂居城市 的陰暗面，台南命案發生後，我們該如何補救？】
10月底，一名 #台南長榮大學 三年級馬來西亞籍女學生，在放學走路回宿舍的路途中，遭歹徒性侵殺害。此案引起台灣社會嘩然，案發現場的路燈完全沒有點亮，加上被害人為外籍學生， #蔡英文 總統最後向馬來西亞致歉。
然而，一個悲劇的發生，都是有經由許多長期累積的制度與結構問題所導致。案發的 #二仁地區 算是大台南市的邊陲地帶，欠缺完善的基礎建設。當外籍生沒辦法騎機車，夜晚一片漆黑時要用走路的話，相對就形成了交通上的弱勢、甚至因為治安死角而被害。

近年香港社會對開發郊野公園作建屋用途的爭辯愈演愈烈，到底香港土地現況為何？犧牲自然環境是否值得？郊野公園邊陲地帶有什麼價值？政府最近提出的具體建屋地點，有什麼方面公眾需要了解？「民間土地資源小組」請來兩位對郊野公園規劃工作有資深認識的講者—王福義教授及Roger Nissim進行對談，希望擴闊公眾對相關議題的討論。

The debate on developing country parks for housing purposes has intensified in recent years. So what is the status of the land resources in Hong Kong? Is it worth sacrificing the natural environment? What is the value of the periphery of country parks? What does the public need to know about the specific development sites proposed by the Government? In this public forum, the “Citizens Task Force of Land Resources" invited two speakers, Dr. Wong Fook Yee and Prof. Roger Nissim, who are well known in the work of planning of country parks in order to broaden the public discussion of the relevant issues.
