朱學恒臉書PO文「為各位科普一下林昶佐綽號的來源」，貼出14年前《蘋果日報》報導，當時林昶佐的閃靈樂團在歐美巡迴演唱，知名度大增，但遭同學爆料，林沒有先天宿疾，卻瘋狂做體檢，不斷鑽漏洞閃兵，沒當兵卻又到處喊愛台灣。
報導內容指出，林昶佐當時也坦承，為了玩樂團找遍方法延畢躲兵役，結果因為焦慮症終於獲判免役，更自爆去日本忘記帶藥，結果在地鐵站癱軟噴出排泄物，相當糗。
朱學恒說，當時林昶佐表示「為台灣盡力不一定要當兵，如果停藥症狀痊癒，去補兵役也可以」，結果之後也沒實現。

與本文無關，我覺得林昶佐最棒的是和女兒的互動全部是台語，看過幾次他們的家庭影片，有些詞我根本想不出怎麼說，小女孩卻想都不必想就說出來，這才是最好的家庭教育。

Bloody Tyrant's upcoming album HAGAKURE, set to be released in 2018, has differed from the previous fast, aggressive musical direction, and has instead changed into more of a folk metal influence while exploring the mysterious sense of Japanese zen style.

hide常常被提到是因為英年早逝 傳奇性的出現
卻又無法再現 所以才會令人這樣懷念
