Understanding your body takes time! I only understood mine better after 5 years and i'm STILL learning!

The one thing I wish I new more of when I was younger - How to EAT SMARTER. Understanding the purpose food for out bodies, where it comes from, how it is made and how it reacts with your body - really takes awareness and the curiosity to learn.

Overtime i've learnt that my body doesn't do well when i drink milk. Hence i've opted for almond milk whenever I mix up my coffee, my post workout smoothies and even my baking. Here’s my go to pro-coffee in the morning with @137degreesmy:

Protein Coffee Recipe:

1️⃣1st pour almond milk
2️⃣1 scoop of protein powder
3️⃣1 scoop of collagen powder
4️⃣2 teaspoon of coffee
5️⃣blend and pour

Reasons i’ve been using this almond milk:

✅has milky and creamy texture.

Try this nutritious yet creamy Almond Milk Turmeric Latte recipe! Rich in antioxidants and may help to reduce inflammation in ya body!

Steps:
1️⃣ Pour 1 cup of @137degreesmy unsweetened almond milk into a pot
2️⃣ Lightly Warm the almond milk
3️⃣ Use Frother to froth the milk OR u can put in blender until it is foamy
4️⃣ 3/4 tsp organic turmeric (high curcumin content)
5️⃣ 1/4 tsp organic cinnamon powder
6️⃣ 1 tsp organic raw honey
7️⃣ blend all together
8️⃣ serve warm

A bit of fun fact! 137 degrees almond milk has the highest content of almond (nut) in the market & contain no artificial additives! It is milky and creamy too 😍

首 先，Almond 的 發 音 是 “阿-悶”，不 是 “L-悶”。為 了 讓 你 容 易 入 腦，請 記 得，好 的 Almond 不 可 以 唸 成 L-悶，否 則 就 會 變 “好 L-悶”。（幸 好 我 不 是 老 師）

對 於 乳 糖 不 耐 症 患 者、牛 奶 過 敏 者、生 銅 飲 食 者、低 碳 飲 食 者、素 食 者 而 言 是 個 補 充 營 養 的 極 佳 選 擇。

我 也 很 愛 杏 仁 奶，但 是 我 不 會 買 超 市 裡 的 包 裝 杏 仁 奶，主 要 原 因 是 大 多 數 的 杏 仁 奶 都 是 『杏 仁 口 味 的 水』－－－杏 仁 成 份 不 過 3%，90% 水 ，其 餘 的 就 是 糖、鹽、乳 化 劑 、增 稠 劑、維 生 素 或 卵 磷 脂 等。1 litre 包 裝 杏 仁 奶 售 價 從 RM 9 － RM20，不 是 說 不 可 以 喝， 但 論 成 份 比 例 來 說 ，確 實 不 太 值 得，但 更 重 要 的 是 味 道 並 不 怎 麼 好 喝。😄 即 使 你 去 月 巴 克 叫 杏 仁 奶 拿 鐵 也 是 same same，我 得 很 坦 白 說，稀 稀 的 杏 仁 奶 混 入 咖 啡 簡 直 是 糟 糕 極 了 。它 不 但 無 法 提 升 咖 啡 的 美 味，反 而 糟 蹋 了 咖 啡 原 有 的 香 氣，變 成 一 杯 奇 怪 的 飲 料。（OK，我 明 白 口 味 因 人 而 異，若 你 喜 歡 please enjoy yourself ☮ ）

至 少 杏 仁 成 份 比 較 多，味 道 也 相 對 好（但 也 沒 到 很 好 喝）。兩 者 對 比，137 degrees (無 糖） 最 为 純 正，因 為 無 添 加 任 何 糖 份 、調 味 & 添 加 劑。PureHarvest （無 糖）則 含 Sea Salt & Natural Almond Essence。 不 過，最 好 的 方 式 還 是 自 己 買 杏 仁 做 啦（超 簡 單 的）。花 10 多 塊 錢 買 包 杏 仁 (250-400g)，總 好 過 買 盒 杏 仁 口 味 的 水。

⚠️ 杏 仁 奶 跟 杏 仁 茶 不 是 一 样 的 杏 仁。杏 仁 奶 是 沒 有 『蟑 螂 味』的 😆
