Taken during the photoshoot for a very long title but self explanatory upcoming show - Boyz II Men of Stand Up - Celebrating 10 Years In Comedy! Happens 15-19 NOV. More details below:

Ever since making their respective stand up comedy debuts in 2006, Kuah Jenhan, Kavin Jay, Andrew Netto, Phoon Chi Ho and Papi Zak have amassed no less than 2000 comedy shows, both local and international, between them while playing active roles in building Malaysia’s stand up comedy industry that paved the way for a new wave of local comedians, not mention heat stamping their country’s name on the comedy map.

Fast forward to 2016, the boys are now the ‘grown ups’ in a thriving local comedy scene with illustrious careers in comedy to boot. This year, for the very first time in 10 years, these five wisecrackers will be joining comedy forces again to bring you BOYZ II MEN OF STAND UP - CELEBRATING 10 YEARS IN COMEDY!

Three venues - PJ Live Arts Theatre, Crackhouse Comedy Club KL and Live House KL - set the stage for five funny-filled nights as Kuah Jenhan, Kavin Jay, Andrew Netto, Phoon Chi Ho and Papi Zak will be serving up their freshest observations as well as revisiting their classic gems.

So, hello friends. Would also like to take the time to tell you of three shows I will perform at of which the tickets are already available.

1) Hack The Crack!' Improv + Stand-up Comedy with Rizal van Geyzel (9pm 21/10/16). It's an improv stand up show where comics are given random topics and will have to improvise a joke out if it. Some other games will be played too. Also on the bill, the great Rizal van Geyzel, Shamaine Othman, Brian Tan, Muzakir Xynll. I will probably be terrible at these games. 2) MAHAGURU SPONTAN at Istana Budaya (The Palace of Culture) (3pm & 8pm 22-23/10/16). It's an improv theatre sports show in Bahasa Malaysia! We play games akin to 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' and 'ACTORLYMPICS!' This is momentous because there hasn't been much Malay improv shows on stage and this is a big big stage! Huge names on the bill for this one: Johan, Zizan, Dato' AC Mizal, Abam, Achey, Fad, Douglas Lim, Rashid Salleh, Kuah Jenhan & hosted by Afdlin Shauki. 3) Boyz II Men Of Stand Up: Celebrating 10 Years in Comedy at Crackhouse Comedy Club KL, PJ Live Arts, & Live House Kuala Lumpur (15-19/11/16). I got on stage TEN years ago to do stand up comedy with these boys Phoon Chi Ho Kavin Jay Andrew Netto and Papi Zak when there was no stand up scene, no open mics, nada and now look where we are?! Shah Alam, Jalan Gasing, Cheras, and Kota Damansara. This will be a really fun show and I will be least terrible in this one. Also 16 Nov is my birthday! Woop.
