「雞旦」是在跨年夜的時候在中山北路，當大家抬頭觀看101煙火時，被愛狗人士蔣先生在路邊發現的狗狗。當時目擊者說雞旦被車連撞兩次，因此奄奄一息完全無法站起來。蔣先生馬上聯絡了福臨動物醫院的江醫生，而經過一晚的急救後，發現雞但左前肢有橈骨尺骨骨折, 腰椎受傷，共打了十個孔才能好好縫合固定。算是急救回來的雞但，在醫院及蔣先生的細心照顧下，目前已安置在協會的緊急安置中心，並恢復的非常好，也非常迅速！原本手術後還不太能走路的她，目前走路穩定，還可以上下樓梯了！只能說我們台灣虎斑土狗還真是生命力超強啊！
因此雞但目前開放認養咯！雞但跟人算比較漫熟，但是一旦你給他一點好吃的零食，愛吃的她就會馬上跟你做好朋友，非常愛撒嬌，會一直用鼻子頂你討摸摸喔！你可以給堅強又幸運的雞但一個永久溫暖的家嗎？

Eve was found on New Year's Eve by SPCA supporter Demos Chiang 蔣友柏. Eve was found laying on the ground, and bystanders said she was hit by a car, twice. After an overnight emergency operation, Eve luckily survived. She had multiple fractures to her hip and legs, but amazingly after a month of recuperation at the vet, she can now stand up and walk with stability. Eve is now staying at the SPCA emergency center, and is getting better every day! She can now go up and down the stairs with ease, and have become great friends with the other doggies at our center. It takes Eve a little longer to warm up to people, but once you give her a treat or two, she quickly becomes your best friend! She loves to be pet, and loves to eat. She has to be fed canned or soft foods for another 2-3 months, but Eve's vet expects a full recovery, so long as she does her physio which is to go for walks to train her leg muscles and nerves.
