เรื่องนี้มีที่มาจากกระทู้หนึ่งในเว็บไซต์ Reddit ที่ได้โพสต์รูป Screenshot ของหน้าร้านค้าในโหมด Battle Royale ที่มีของใหม่อย่าง Counter UAV เพิ่มเข้ามา ซึ่งขายในราคา $4,500 แพงกว่า UAV ปกติเล็กน้อย และรวมไปถึงมีผู้เล่นบางคนที่ได้ลองใช้งานกันไปแล้วด้วย ซึ่งก่อนหน้านี้ถ้าหากผู้เล่นจะใช้งานความสามารถนี้ ทุกคนในทีม 4 คนต้องเปิด UAV พร้อมกันเท่านั้น ซึ่งคิดเป็นเงินมากถึง $16,000 เลยทีเดียว

คุณสมบัติของ Counter UAV คือการก่อกวนสัญญาณ Minimap ของฝ่ายตรงข้ามไม่ให้มองเห็นได้ชั่วคราว ซึ่งผู้เล่นในโหมด Multiplayer หลายคนก็เลือก Perk นี้เอาไว้ใช้งานกันค่อนข้างแพร่หลายในแผนที่ขนาดกลาง แต่การมาของ Perk ตัวนี้จะทำให้เกมเปลี่ยนแปลงไปแค่ไหนนั้น ก็คงต้องมารอดูกันต่อไปครับ
