Upcakes.sg’s Durian Mao Shan Wang Chocolate Cake dons a classy appearance - glossy chocolate ganache encasing really moist chocolate sponge, & sandwiched a layer of MSW. whiff of the alluring durian hits me instantly when i cut into the cake.

Initially, i think that chocolate & durian cannot work together in a cake. but a bite into it after, i was impressed. the natural sweetness of the durian permeates the moderately sweet sponge and ganache, perfecting the sweetness level of an enjoyable cake. note worthy creamy MSW flesh has a really lovely contrast to the fluffy cake sponge too!
