เช้ามืดวันนี้ (16 มิ.ย.) อิสราเอลแถลงโจมตีทางอากาศต่อกลุ่มฮามาสในฉนวนกาซา เพื่อตอบโต้การปล่อยบอลลูนไฟ ไม่นานหลังรัฐบาลผสมชุดใหม่ของ นาย นาฟตาลี เบนเน็ตต์ ครองอำนาจ นับเป็นการปะทุขึ้นใหม่ของความขัดแย้งระหว่างอิสราเอลกับกาซาหลังหยุดยิงไปเมื่อ 21 พ.ค.

กองทัพอิสราเอลระบุว่าใช้เครื่องบินเจ็ตยิงถล่มฐานทัพฮามาสในเขตข่านยูนิสและกาซาซิตี เพื่อตอบโต้ “การก่อการร้ายจากกาซา” โดยวานนี้ (15 มิ.ย.) ฮามาสมีการปล่อยบอลลูนไฟหลายลูกจากกาซาสู่อิสราเอลทำให้เกิดเพลิงไหม้อย่างน้อย 20 จุดใกล้กับชายแดน การโจมตีของอิสราเอลกินเวลาประมาณ 10 นาที ยังไม่ชัดเจนว่ามียอดผู้เสียชีวิตและบาดเจ็บเท่าใด ฝ่ายโฆษกฮามาสแถลงว่าจะ “ขัดขืนอย่างกล้าหาญและปกป้องสิทธิและสถานที่ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ของพวกตน” ในเยรูซาเล็มต่อไป

ขอเรียงลำดับเหตุการณ์ปะทะระหว่างอิสราเอล-ปาเลสไตน์ในปีนี้คร่าวๆ นะครับ

1. เริ่มจากความตึงเครียดในเยรูซาเล็มตะวันออกนานหลายสัปดาห์ มีสาเหตุจากครอบครัวปาเลสไตน์ในเขตเยรูซาเลมตะวันออกถูกขับไล่

2. ตำรวจอิสราเอลบุกเข้ามัสยิดอัลอักศอ

3. มีการยิงจรวดจากกาซาในวันที่ 10 พ.ค.

4. อิสราเอลโจมตีตอบโต้กลับ

5. มีการหยุดยิงในวันที่ 21 พ.ค. รวมเวลาปะทะกัน 11 วัน จนเป็นเหตุให้กาซามีผู้เสียชีวิตอย่างน้อย 250 คน ส่วนอิสราเอลมีผู้เสียชีวิต 13 คน ซึ่งทั้งสองฝ่ายมีเด็กเสียชีวิต

6. วันที่ 14 มิ.ย. รัฐบาลใหม่ของ นาย นาฟตาลี เบนเน็ตต์ อนุญาตให้จัดงานวันเยรูซาเล็ม ซึ่งเป็นวันฉลองที่อิสราเอลได้ครองเยรูซาเล็มทั้งหมดหลังสงครามหกวันเมื่อปี 1967 แต่ในปีนี้ถูกเลื่อนมาจากกำหนดเดิมเมื่อวันที่ 10 พ.ค.

7. วันที่ 15 มิ.ย. มีการเดินขบวนในเยรูซาเล็มตะวันออกของพวกชาตินิยมยิวขวาจัดและเกิดการปะทะกับผู้ประท้วงปาเลสไตน์ ตำรวจอิสราเอลจึงใช้ระเบิดทำให้มึนงง (stun grenade) และกระสุนยางเพื่อเคลียร์พื้นการเดินขบวนดังกล่าว ทำให้มีผู้ประท้วงปาเลสไตน์ได้รับบาดเจ็บกว่า 30 คน และถูกจับกุมอีก 17 คน วิดีโอบนโซเชียลมีเดียปรากฏภาพผู้ประท้วงอิสราเอลบางคนตะโกน “อาหรับตายซะ” ใส่ชาวปาเลสไตน์ด้วย แม้ว่ารัฐมนตรีต่างประเทศ ยาอีร์ ลาปิด จะทวีตวิจารณ์การตะโกนเหยียดเชื้อชาติ ว่าเป็น “ความเสื่อมเสียแก่ประชาชนชาวอิสราเอล” แต่สื่ออิสราเอลรายงานว่า มีการติดตั้งไอรอนโดมใกล้ชายแดนป้องกันไว้ก่อนแล้ว เหมือนเตรียมปะทะใหญ่

8. 15 มิ.ย. ฮามาสปล่อยบอลลูนไฟ อิสราเอลจึงโจมตีโต้กลับดังกล่าวเมื่อเช้ามืดวันนี้ (16 มิ.ย.)

Reposted from @ahmedeldin Israel is AGAIN bombing Gaza tonight with 5 raids on Khan Younis and 5 in Gaza City on the same day thousands of Jewish ultranationalists participating in the march were heard chanting “Death to Arabs” in Hebrew. In another anti-Palestinian chant, they yelled: “May your village burn.”

The Israeli air force launched air raids on the Gaza Strip early on Wednesday after Palestinians in the besieged enclave sent incendiary balloons into southern Israel, Israel’s military and witnesses in Gaza said.

In a statement, the Israeli army said it attacked Hamas compounds and that it was “ready for all scenarios.”

It was not immediately clear if there were casualties as a result of the bombings.

The air raids mark the first major flare-up between Israel and Gaza since a ceasefire on May 21 ended Israel’s 11-day assault on the territory, which killed 256 Palestinians, including 66 children, according to Gaza authorities. Twelve people in Israel were also killed by rockets fired from the enclave.

On Tuesday, hundreds of Palestinians in Gaza protested against a “provocative” march by Israeli far-right nationalists through occupied East Jerusalem.

Tuesday’s so-called “March of the Flags“, which marked the anniversary of Israel’s 1967 occupation of the city’s eastern part, came as tensions remain high over Israel’s planned forced displacement of Palestinian families from the neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

Ahead of the march, Israeli police forcibly removed dozens of Palestinians from outside the Old City’s Damascus Gate. At least 17 Palestinians were arrested and 33 others were wounded as Israeli police fired stun grenades in the surrounding areas of Damascus Gate.
