Taking it easy this morning in the pool as I lead into TriFam, a sprint race I'm doing this Sunday in Batam, organised by Hivelocity. Thank you TYR (as well as X-Bionic) for bringing Christmas early to me with a whole bunch of new training gear! I'm so excited about the 2-piece swimwear 'cause that means my stomach won't be as white anymore. GRIN. Lol!! #cheryltayworksout
Running marathons is often an internal battle where your mind battles with the legs to go on. During the run, all kinds of thoughts go through your mind, including the thought of never doing this again. But after you complete it, with jelly legs as a souvenir, you will feel a great sense of accomplishment and find yourself returning to do it again. I'm honoured to have been one of the charity ambassadors for Sundown Marathon 2014 and I hope to do my part again next year. Thank you HiVelocity for the great effort in putting together this massive event. Sundown with Love is a superb initiative in giving back to the society, as we need to be reminded that a simple thing like running should not be taken for granted - there are others out there who don't have this privilege. Congrats to all Sundown finishers; we share the same insanity for running while the rest are sleeping! Yay new earphones from #Klipsch! The newly launched R6i for casual listening and also the A5i (with the ear clip so it doesn't fall off easily) for running! There is a remote to control audio and song selection, but only for Apple devices sadly (I'm on Samsung).
