Remember guys, the #KamyJ21DayChallenge is not about starving yourself..but it's about eating the right food.
Some tips/reminders: 1) Portion control, you can't eat as much as you want of something even if it's healthy! 2) NO white flour food (regular pasta, regular potatoes, white rice, white bread etc - they are high in calories and do not make you full) 3) Reduce the amount of sugar consumed 4) ALWAYS read nutrition info on store bought products 5) Eat more fruits, veggies, meat, eggs, dairy & whole grains 6) Go easy on dressings/sauce as they are loaded with sodium (again read the labels) 7) If you are ordering meals out, go for fresh/steamed/sautéed veggies & meat. Avoid deep fried food. 8) Plan your meals/meal prep as this will help you stay on track. 9) To those wanting to loose weight, try to exercise at least 3 times a week. 10) Throw out/donate all junk/unhealthy food in your house! 11) What you drink is as equally important so NO sodas or drinks that is loaded with sugar! 12) Water is your best friend!
PS: My recommended portion for brown rice, black rice, oats or quinoa is 1/3 of a cup. 😊 You can do it!! Stay strong! ❤️

This was very spontaneous and last minute, but to those joining me in my personal challenge here are some guidelines..
22nd of May to 10th of June (if you're on a different time zone just start on the next day and follow through for 21 days)
NO Fast food, Junk Food, Refined Sugar (Cakes, Cookies, Treats), Soda, Deep fried food, Starchy carbs (white rice, white bread, pasta, potatoes), LIMIT/AVOID Alcohol, REDUCE Salt Intake AND Eat MORE lean protein (fish, chicken, tofu, etc), vegetables, fruits and healthy fat for the next 21 days
Post all your meals on Instagram and hashtag #KamyJ21DayChallenge so we can encourage & keep track of each other's challenge. I will also be posting ALL my meals/snacks so you can use it as examples..
