It’s been more than 4 years since I said my goodbyes…Alhamdulillah, 4 years later The Almighty has blessed me with the opportunity to be breathing still. But the journey hasn’t been easy. Not only for me but even harder for my family who have been making many sacrifices.

Yes, sacrifice! And today is the perfect day to talk about sacrifices. Cos sacrifice comes in many forms. As for my husband and my children, they have made the biggest sacrifices for me.

When people around the world started to learn how to live under the new norm since last year due to the pandemic, our family has been living under this more or less same norm since my health started to deteriorate many years back. When the people around the world had to make many sacrifices such as not being able to go out, not being able to work, not being able to go on holiday, etc, our family has already been living under this norm for many years. And I believe we are not the only family - many others who are fighting their own illnesses are the same.

My life has been a rollercoaster ride with ups and downs and many bumps along the way. But I am blessed to have a husband and children who have been sacrificing and adjusting their life according to my health. And I am beyond blessed to have a family that have been patiently taking care of me and have never ever given up on me.

Truthfully, I can’t possibly repay them for all of their sacrifices. I am ever so blessed and grateful to have them in my life. Without even thinking twice, I would trade my life for them if I have to. And for all of their sacrifices, I pray that Allah reward them with the most special place in Jannatul Firdaus…🤍

The Great Multitude in Heaven

“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God forever and ever! Amen.” One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and from where did they come?” I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes, and made them white in the Lamb’s blood. Therefore they are before the throne of God, they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.” (Revelation‬ ‭7:9-15‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The passage above depicts the scene of the saints arriving in Heaven right after the Rapture.

The main confusion for most people here regarding the timeline of this event is because of the words “came out of the great tribulation”, making them think that it happens in the middle or end of the Tribulation.

However, I believe that the Rapture happens once the appointed time for the Tribulation begins.

Whether someone comes out of the Tribulation at the start, in the middle, or at the end of it does not matter—it is still coming out of the Tribulation.

Let me give you an example. Let’s say you go and watch a movie at a cinema. You did not like the movie immediately, so you left the cinema shortly after arriving. The fact is, you still came out of the cinema, even if it was at the start of the movie. Makes sense?

Additionally, the Tribulation saints who miss the Rapture and only believe in Jesus during the Tribulation will not receive salvation immediately, but only at the end of the Tribulation when Jesus returns. They have to endure to the end (without receiving the mark of the beast) to be saved.

Read the following passage which takes place after the Tribulation, at the start of the Millennial reign of Christ. It shows that the martyred Tribulation saints will only come alive again and receive eternal life after the Tribulation has ended:

“I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as didn’t worship the beast nor his image, and didn’t receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead didn’t live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.” (Revelation‬ ‭20:4-5‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

Jesus said the following words to the church of Philadelphia (all of them have fallen asleep since then):

“Because you kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, which is to come on the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.” (Revelation‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

There is an hour of testing coming upon the whole world, which is the seven years of Tribulation, but it is not for the church. Jesus’ message is true for the church today as well. We will not be going through the Tribulation.

“But let us, since we belong to the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and, for a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God didn’t appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” (1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:8-10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

We are not waiting for the Antichrist to appear. Instead, we are looking forward to Jesus’ return. We will obtain the last part of our salvation: the transformation of our mortal bodies into glorified bodies. Those who have fallen asleep will be raised from the dead first, and then we will all be transformed in the twinkling of an eye, to have immortal bodies that match our righteous spirits.

We are not appointed to go through the time of wrath. God knows how to separate the righteous from the wicked, just as He made a distinction between the children of Israel and the Egyptians during the ten plagues in Egypt. The children of Israel were preserved alive, and so were their flocks, but the Egyptians and their flocks suffered/died.

So do not fear—lift your head and confidently expect Jesus to return for us any day now!

Let me end off with a poem I wrote called “Jesus I Need You”. As you read, tune your heart to expect His imminent return. It is a hope that purifies you!

Jesus I’d be lost without Your love,
everyday would be so hard.
When things don’t go my way,
I fall into Your embrace,
I am forever Yours.

I can’t imagine life without You,
that would be Hell for sure.
I need grace and mercy that’s from You,
by myself I’m powerless.

Let me abide in the Vine,
I’ll hear of You and be fine.
Faith will rise—I’ll speak forth life,
fruitfulness is sure.

Take my hand and guide me through life,
I know you’ll never let me go.
With You I’ll walk on water,
we’ll rise above every power.

Lord Jesus,
you’ll catch me when I fall.
Amidst every trial,
You are there through it all.

I just want to see You,
I long for that perfect day.
Where we’ll meet in the clouds,
and I’ll see Your lovely face.

Every tiny little improvement you made today is a progress to success. Be it getting all the tasks at work completed on time, getting 3 more marks in a test, or even managed to cut down 0.5kg of weight after trying hard to resist an ice-cream. Don’t forget to pat yourself at the shoulder and tell yourself that you’ve done a great job today, 5 stars for that! 😝

💞 Do what makes you feel happy.
Happiness is not permanent, but constantly sparing yourself some time to do something that makes you feel happy prolongs the timeline of happiness, and it definitely helps you feel better as a person in a long run. 🌸

【大葉とゆかりの冷製パスタ】
今日は、大葉とゆかりを使ってサッパリした冷製パスタを作りました！付け合わせとしてもオススメのパスタで、夏にピッタリのパスタです。
オリーブオイルの風味とゆかりと大葉の爽やかさで、暑い日でも食べたくなる味わいです。
いつもどおり、パスタはレンジで茹でますが、冷製パスタにする場合は長めに加熱してしっかり冷やすのがポイント！！包丁まな板いらずで、マジで簡単なレシピなのでぜひお試しください。


〈材料〉一人分
パスタ(5分茹で) 100g
大葉 6枚
刻み海苔 お好みの量
☆ゆかり 小さじ1/2〜
☆めんつゆ(4倍濃縮) 小さじ1

【Perilla and Yukari cold pasta】
Today, I made a refreshing cold pasta using perilla and yukari! This pasta is also recommended as a side dish, and is perfect for summer.
The flavor of olive oil, the connection and the freshness of the perilla leaves make you want to eat it even on a hot day.
As usual, the pasta is boiled in the microwave, but when making cold pasta, the point is to heat it for a long time and cool it well! !! You don't need a kitchen knife cutting board, it's a really simple recipe, so please try it.

Hello friends! Today we're going to share with you how to make a French style Pineapple Vanilla Rum Jam (Confiture D’ananas Á La Vanille au Rhum).

It’s the season for pineapple locally. Pineapple is super sweet and less expensive than usual since they're in season now. If you want to preserve more delicious pineapples, making jam is a good way.

We have made Taiwanese pineapple jam before, but this time we’re going to make the French style, the recipe is inspired by Christine Ferber. Pineapple laced with vanilla and dark rum, the whole combination worked brilliantly and produced a delicious result in texture and flavor. It’s a Must Try recipe. Enjoy the video. :)

How to make French Pineapple Jam With Vanilla ＆ Rum
Here is the French Pineapple Jam With Vanilla ＆ Rum Recipe

☞  Jam Container is 500ml

✎ Ingredients
pineapple 500g, remove the skin and core
rum 50ml
sugar 375g
vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon (or a stick of vanilla bean)
lemon 1

✎ Instructions
1. Cut the pineapple in half through the center, and then cut into 3 for each half. Remove the core.
2. To use a sticker or a small knife, remove the pineapple seeds to make a perfect texture and taste.
3. Slice the pineapple into 2~3mm thick. Weigh out 500 grams of pulp.
4. Place pineapple slices into a saucepan, add the sugar, vanilla extract, then squeeze a lemon juice.
5. Cook on medium heat, stirring frequently, until the pineapple mixture simmers slightly for a few minutes.
6. Pour the pineapple mixture into a large bowl, cover with parchment and let cool. Then cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
7. Next day, pour the mixture into the saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir frequently and skim any scum that rises to the surface. After boiling, continue to cook for 8~10 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
8. When the fruit and liquid cook to the gel point, or until 105C, add the Rum and continue to cook for 3 minutes.
9. Once cooked, pour the jam into sterilized containers. Place lids and seal. Turning the jars upside down. Let cool and place in the refrigerator.

The guest and I will be playing a game of Jenga while completing a dare every time we encounter a stickered Jenga brick. The perfect way to get to know us better ~
