ทาง NetherRealm Studio ได้ปล่อย Trailer ใหม่โปรโมทระบบของเกม Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath โดยเป็นการโชว์ท่า Friendship ของตัวละครต่าง ๆ ในเกมทั้งตัวละครใหม่และเก่า สำหรับคนที่ไม่ได้ชื่นชอบท่าสังหารโหดแบบเดิมของเกมที่มีมาแต่เก่าก่อนนั่นเอง

โดยใน DLC ใหม่นี้จะใช้ชื่อว่า Aftermath ที่จะเป็นเนื้อเรื่องต่อจากที่ Lui Kang ได้รับพลังในการควบคุมเวลาให้สิ่งต่าง ๆ กลับไปดำเนินรอยตามที่ควรจะเป็น ทว่าก็มีบุคคลกลุ่มหนึ่งเดินทางมาหาพวกเขาคือ Shang Tsung, Fujin และ Nightwolf ที่ออกมาเตือนว่าภัยคุกคามที่ใหญ่กว่านั้นจะรอพวกเขาอยู่ถ้าหากมีการปรับแก้ไขเวลาไม่ถูกต้อง และ Kronica จะกลับมาอีก ทำให้พวกเขาต้องร่วมมือกันเพื่อหยุดยั้งภัยร้ายครั้งใหม่นี้

Aftermath จะวางขายเป็นส่วนเสริมหรือ Expansion ที่มีตัวละครใหม่ 3 ตัว เนื้อเรื่องเสริม และ Skin Pack 3 ชุด พร้อมกันนี้ตัวเกมจะมีการอัปเดตระบบใหม่คือ Stage Fatality สังหารศัตรูด้วยฉากในเกม กับ Friendship ผูกมิตรไม่ฆ่าศัตรูที่เป็นระบบในภาคเก่า โดยทั้งหมดนี้จะวางขายและอัปเดตในวันที่ 26 พฤษภาคมนี้ครับ
