MOFA would like to thank #US President Donald Trump for signing into law the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, which allocates US$3 million to the Global Cooperation and Training Framework and includes the provisions for the Taiwan Assurance Act of 2020!
This means that the #TaiwanAssuranceAct of 2020 is now in effect, furthering the normalization of weapons sales to #Taiwan and heightening support for Taiwan’s participation in international organizations.
