這張HIGHER是Patricia Barber繼黑膠、CD版後，推出的5.1聲道及兩聲道SACD版，而這個版本是以DSD方式錄音，所以理論上以SACD發行是最原汁原味，可惜我現用的CD機是Burmester 069是一個純CD機，所以不能欣賞這張SACD的真正厲害一面，不過今次只是聽CD層，已經發覺相當之靚聲，相信大家播放SACD層，應該比我聽到的更好！

這張專輯比起之前版本多了四首歌，而今次我聽了這張碟多次之後，我最喜歡的三首歌，其中兩首就是新增四首當中的兩首。這三首我喜歡的歌曲分別是第10首 "In Your Own Sweet Way"、第11首"Secret Love"和第6首"The Albatross Song"，喜歡這幾首歌曲的原因，除了Patricia Barber的歌聲之外，就是當中的音樂演奏非常精彩，不只Patricia Barber的鋼琴琴音通清、亮麗，Patrick Mulcahy的大牛筋，不止低頻潛得夠低，而且線條感強，另外，Jon Deitemyer的敲擊樂也很精彩，Hi-hat的敲打很傳神，不止質感強、很有金屬味，聲音在空氣中慢慢消散的微弱聲也捕捉下來，當然Jim Gailloreto的色士風和Neal Alger的結他聲，在這張SACD錄音當中也表現出很像真的聲音，綜合這張專輯的錄音是滿分之作。至於音樂亦相當獨特，不是一時三刻聽了就會喜歡，這是要花點時間慢慢欣賞的作品，細味當中所蘊藏的意境。

最後，這張SACD試了在不同組合上播放，無論是不是SACD機上播放，只要組合本身聲音愈平衡，這張SACD的聲音就愈好，愈能聽出當中的細節，所以能否感受到這張SACD是否滿分錄音，也要看看組合本身的平衡度。
