適逢今日原為9.15民陣大遊行,警方再次發出反對通知書反對遊行申請,但巿民仍然發起以各種理由前往港島,如到東角道購物,再流水式行街。

今天是痛苦聖母瞻禮,眼見香港現正處於自由、尊嚴、公義備受剝奪的時刻,讓我們今天於三所聖堂進行苦路祈禱,祈求明白世人痛苦的聖母為我們轉禱,陪伴我們走這條苦路。
3pm 第一站於基督君王小堂(銅鑼灣銅鑼灣道1號)進行苦路祈禱。
完成第一站後,初步預算我們會分別於 4pm 到達聖母聖衣堂(灣仔星街一號)及 5pm 到達聖若瑟堂(花園道37號),唯確實時間會不斷於 Facebook 及 Twitter 公佈。

Today is the memoria of Our Lady of Sorrow. In this moment that our freedom, dignity, and justice is being deprived here in Hog Kong, let us have a pilgrimage to visit three churches and pray to our Lady who understand the meaning of sorrow to accompany us in this journey of suffering and ask for her intercession.
3pm First Stop: Christ the King Chapel (1 Causeway Bay Road, Causeway Bay). We begin the way of the cross.

日記大約是我少數有一直在持續的事情。
我記憶力不好,連自己寫過的東西都會忘,所以有一個習慣是寫日記。國中到高中時斷續寫了5年,用0.38的筆在行事曆的小本子上面寫,起初只是每天寫一句心情,但因為我廢話很多,後來就變成了一大段,擠在好小好小格子裡面;大學因為太愛玩,幾乎都沒寫,一直到研究所才重拾這習慣。

一開始用EMAIL寫,回信給自己,大約寫了2年多;後來手機流行起來,用線上文件、日記APP等等,一直持續到今天。有天我跟我的督導提起我的日記習慣,他問我寫這麼多年,有沒有什麼感覺?我跟他說我很慚愧,因為到後來都像是交差了事,一邊記錄流水帳,甚至還有好多天之後補空隙的「回憶錄」(為什麼跟個案記錄有點像XD)。

「所以,你寫日記的時候都沒有用心?」督導說,也太準了,我才發現一直以來我好像都是「為了不要留白而寫」。「那麼,或許下次寫的時候,可以留意一下自己的心情。」督導說得容易,要是心情有那麼容易留意就好了。

作為一個情緒常常被我「忽略」和「漏勾」的人,實在是需要一些方法提醒我來做自我覺察。我想起多年前學姊在做實驗的時候用的材料「情感方格」(Affect Grid),懷抱忐忑寫信去請研究情緒的心理學大師James A. Russell授權(我很俗辣,其實是花園團隊的夥伴去信問的 ),沒想到他竟然同意了!

市面上類似的「情緒溫度計」係列APP這麼多,為什麼還要自己搞一個呢?除了我希望結合日記來進行之外,這工具最特別的地方在於,多數的情緒測量大多長這樣:
-你的快樂程度是?1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10
-心情不好<----->心情好
這樣的測量雖然簡單,但卻少測量一樣東西,就是你的生理興奮程度。
例如,同樣是期中考差或被老闆罵而心情不好,可能會有兩種(以上)的情形:
1.悲傷:自責、低落、自尊受損、受傷......
2.憤怒:想灌爆老闆、氣呼呼、恨教授......
前者是「低激發負向情緒」(low arousal negative affect),後者則是「高激發負向情緒」(high arousal negative affect),如果你很傷,大概很難感到有「能量」在體內醞釀,但如果你很「混怒」(你看連話都說不清楚了),胸口應該會有滿滿的火在燒。
那麼,要怎麼同時記錄你現在的心情好壞,又記錄你的能量高低呢?這十字的四個象限方格,解決了「情緒正負」x「高低激發」的問題,持續記錄了一段時間,你就會知道哪些日子你比較焦慮、那哪些日子比較平靜,還可以透過圖片,知道自己這個月大多數的時候都是比較「high」的,還是大多數的時候能量都很低。
當然,情緒的理論跟測量分類還有很多*,這只是一種分類方式,可是每天透過日記抒發心情,並且看看一段日子以來的改變,或許就能讓你對自己的人生,更有控制感一些。
「我發現,我每週要督導前都會滿焦慮的。有時候很興奮要跟你分享,有時候會很生氣,可能是對自己『沒有做好』而生氣,也可能是擔心你的評價。但總之,都很焦慮,像是胸口的氣管卡了一個50元。」我說,在我(封閉測試時)寫了一個月的樹洞之後,我發現每週X督導前,自己都焦焦的,督導人很好,溫柔地點點頭。
「很棒的覺察喔。你常常說,你是一個沒什麼情緒的人,但我感覺到的是,你『整個人』都是情緒。或許,你只是不習慣辨識與沈澱它們而已。」督導說,我趕快看看我的手指,指尖真的像是會「流」出紫紫黑黑蠕動的焦躁之類的,像是魔法公主裡乙事主的身上毒素一樣。
「可是你知道嗎,焦慮也是我們生命的一個重要力量。當你學會駕馭它,他反而能推動你的人生。」我想起多年前,一個資深的心理師朋友牧米跟我說**。
如果你也需要一個地方乘載焦慮,這裡可以收藏你這些日子以來,焦慮在你生命留下的足跡。回頭看看,原來已經走了這麼遠的路阿!
或許你這一路以來有很多的辛苦,不一定能夠被人所理解,那麼至少,你擁有這片森林,你可以把情緒的重量,分給這些土壤,用話語埋藏。當你已經疲憊到不能夠自己,不要忘記還有這裡可以擁抱你。

在寫作的時候,有些同學為了避免重複使用相同的詞彙,卻選用了意義上不盡相同的詞,而無法精確地表達出自己所想傳達的想法。這問題很可能來自於考生平時在語言學習上過於依賴中英翻譯,因此在不夠了解某些詞彙精準的用法的情況下,很容易造成讀者的誤解。
為了幫助同學增加詞彙量並且精確地在口說和寫作上使用這些字,我建議同學們不要一開始的時候就死記硬背一群同義詞彙 (e.g. decline, decrease, diminish, dwindle, reduce, alleviate) 。雖然如此做會快速幫同學累積對這些詞的認知,可是認知都會停留在模糊階段。建議同學先熟悉其中一兩個單詞以後在開始累積相關的同義詞彙,也應該用搭配詞跟片語加上完整的例句和短文來輔助自己對單詞的理解。同時同學們也應該在使用這些單詞之前先查查字典,更進一步了解這些詞彙的使用方式。
