Everyday is like a birthday as long as we are together. Of course, I know Ayla had a blast today. I mean, she has been spoiled with everybody’s cuddles and gifts but it also feels incredibly special to celebrate the fact that we made it to one year. I mean, it truly is a milestone for every parent. I’m sure Tim and I have changed hundreds of diapers between us. We’ve probably lost months of sleep this year but it’s true what they say, the nights are long but the years are short. Our baby girl has grown up to be such a sweet character. We are delirious but we are deliriously happy. Well done to Ayla for being such a rockstar baby. Well done to Isaac for being the most caring big brother. Well done to Tim for being a great hands on father. I, myself will be giving myself a little tap on my shoulder too. Huge thank you to everybody who came to share this special day with us. It’s amazing to be able to celebrate with the very people who supported us so much in our journey. Thank you kindly for all the gifts and cards. Especially want to thank Annie, Bingo, Claire and Mummy Ng for helping out with food prep. Thank you so much to Mummy Tsang for helping with cleaning. Who needs catering when you have an awesome family? We love you all big much. We will be going to sleep with a huge smile on our faces. Here’s to making more memories together.
