A封面的目的：使用能讓消費者能產生興趣和好奇的方式來表現故事，最後把書買下來。

B封面要傳達的有：
1.類型。例如奇幻小說或偵探小說？
2.目標讀者群。兒童或阿嬤？
3.氛圍。故事的調性
4.故事。不需要表現出整個故事，有時候有神秘感可能更好。但是至少用暗示的手法表現故事的走向。
.
C直接：
好的封面第一眼就能抓住讀者的眼睛。
.
D獨特：
好的封面會在他這類型的書中脫穎而出。但也不能太偏離這個類型的樣子。

E和字體的搭配（這個插畫家真的無能為力）
.
F問問自己：你自己會拿起這本書翻閱嗎?
