Take an immersive tour through the 'Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams' exhibition on.dior.com/designer-of-dreams running at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, until February 20, 2022. This marks the fifth international stop for the landmark retrospective, with its original record-breaking iteration in Paris. Curated by Florence Müller in collaboration with Matthew Yokobosky, the museum's Senior Curator of Fashion and Material Culture, and designed by scenographer Nathalie Crinière, the exhibition explores the whole history of the House, and the story of the founding couturier himself, from the revolutionary New Look collection of 1947 through the work of each of his successors up to Maria Grazia Chiuri today. Divided into thematic sections such as gardens, Versailles, color and the ateliers, it also focuses on the influence exerted by the United States and especially New York, to which Monsieur Dior sailed several months after his debut, and where he would establish a subsidiary the following year.

After captivating record audiences in Paris and London, from July 28 to October 4, 2020, the Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai plays hosts to the Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams retrospective with a fresh scenographic narrative. Curated by Oriole Cullen, the exhibition features more than 250 haute couture dresses, and represents an invitation on a journey to the heart of Christian Dior’s visionary daring and that of his successors, from Yves Saint Laurent to Maria Grazia Chiuri today. This extraordinary tale of creativity spanning more than seventy years is thematically told with the aid of precious archival documents and photographs, captivating sketches, and emblematic perfumes, from Miss Dior to J'adore, and includes works by prestigious Chinese artists in a celebration of the steadfast bonds that have united Dior and China since 1947.
