Glastonbury 首獲許可，明年回歸有望！？

根據本週的新聞報導，Glastonbury 獲得當地區議會的許可，將可以在今年 9 月舉辦上限 5 萬人的演出活動，過去活動往往吸引超過 20 萬人參與的 Glastonbury，今年及去年的活動都因為疫情的關係而取消，不過隨著英國當地積極接種疫苗之後，近期也開始逐步鬆綁大型群聚活動，包括運動賽事、演出都在這個月陸續開放。七月之後的大型音樂祭、演唱會日程也都陸續公開，這次 Glastonbury 原先提出兩天的申請，最終只拿到一天 5 萬人上限的許可，活動預計會過去音樂祭招牌的金字塔舞台位置舉辦，這 5 萬人包括場內的工作人員、演出者以及觀眾，且觀眾無法在場內露營。
這場活動並不會成為 2021 年的 Glastonbury，而是會用來舉辦主辦每年固定為當地募款的 Pilton Party 大型版，過去包括像是 Wolf Alice 和 Supergrass 都曾出席演出，相信今年的活動絕對會比起以往都要熱鬧許多。不過為避免疫情發生變化導致活動取消，主辦單位暫時不會宣布任何相關細節。
同時 Glastonbury 將在這個週末舉辦兩天的線上演出，陣容包括 Coldplay、Damon Albarn、HAIM、IDLES、Jorja Smith、Kano、Michael Kiwanuka、Wolf Alice 等樂團，主辦也呼籲大家參與這場活動將能夠幫助 Glastonbury 回歸，也透露目前已經正式開始敲團，期待明年能夠再次和 20 萬人一起，在五天的活動看團、露營。
